This role is in Hsinchu (Zhudong), Taiwan.\nIn this role you will:\nUtilize knowledge of semiconductor CMP process to interpret the voice of the customer (VoC) and critical to quality (CTQs) for problem definition\nPropose CMP product (slurry, pad, conditioner, PCMP clean etc.) and process to solve customer problems or meet new market needs\nWork with multi-functional teams to develop hypotheses and lead product design space assessment based on cleanroom experiments\nPlan, execute and summarize cleanroom experiments systematically designed with multi-functional teams\nAnalyze experiments with statistical analysis tool (JMP) and derive conclusions with confidence\nCommunicate key learning and conclusions to various partners clearly and timely\nDevelop practical methods and creative engineering solutions to accelerate customer product adoption progress\nPrepare data package that defines the solution and then promote the solution both internally and to the customer\nGrow expert knowledge about leading-edge Entegris technology and products.\nTraits we believe make a strong candidate:\nIn-depth understanding of CMP process and impact of CMP consumables (slurry, pads, conditioning disk, etc.) on CMP performance\nProven ability to work on complex projects in a team environment and lead the development of engineering solutions\nDemonstrated project management skill and knowledge of semiconductor device and integration scheme\nKnowledge of Six Sigma methodology and ability to use the design of experiment (DOE) to solve engineering problems\nDemonstrated data analysis skills using statistical data analysis software - JMP, Minitab\nCritical and systematic thinking in developing solutions to a complex problem, upbeat and capable of contributing both as an individual and part of a highly interdependent team\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\nPassion for knowing “how things work” and tenacious in finding answers\nAbility to rapidly switch focus and be adaptable to change\nHighly motivated and committed to continuous learning\nWorking experience in CMP-related manufacturing or semiconductor fabrication is required.\nA bachelor's degree in a technical subject area (e.g., chemistry, material science, chemical engineering, or related field) is required.
