The role is responsible for developing and managing detailed maintenance plans, as well as enabling the maintenance team to have the materials and tools needed to do the job safely and efficiently.\nIn this role you will:\nDevelop detailed plans for maintenance activities, including scope, labor estimates, materials, tools, and special equipment and access requirements \nCollaborate with operations, engineering, maintenance and procurement teams to ensure smooth execution of maintenance plans \nWork closely with Maintenance Coordinator to manage an assigned backlog of maintenance work in a way that ensures that business priorities are met \nIdentify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve cost efficiency through effective planning \nEnsure parts and materials are planned, kitted, and readily available for maintenance team \nMaintain spare parts safety stock values and storage areas \nReview closed work orders to identify changes or improvements needed to existing maintenance plans. \nActively maintain CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) with changes to preventive maintenance frequency, job plans, bill of materials (BOMs) \nCoordinate with outside contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance work orders. \nParticipate in Job Safety Task Analysis to ensure all jobs are done effectively and safely. \nTraits we believe make a strong candidate:\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment, planning experience preferred. \nMotivated and self-directed team player with good interpersonal skills. \nExperience in the use of a CMMS is required, SAP platform is desired. \nStrong verbal and written communication skills. \nExperience with managing, organizing, and maintaining stock room inventory. \nDemonstrated understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance practices. \nProficient in computer skills and Microsoft required. \nHigh focus and emphasis on detail, safety, and quality. \nMust be able to manage and balance multiple priorities with varying deadlines and ensure effective progression to completion. \nExcellent team player who demonstrates leadership abilities. \nYour success will be measured by:\nAbility to work with a diverse team in terms of background and skill sets to achieve greater levels of efficiency and manufacturing robustness. \nAbility to manage time and balance short term needs of the day-to-day production environment with long term project deliverables and timelines. \nEmbody a sense of ownership over the maintenance planning and inventory systems. \nUse data to inform decisions and help develop and implement manufacturing
