Leadership\nEngage and influenceKorea operations,Taiwanand China team members, global MQE partners, business stakeholders, Procurement, R&D, Customer Quality, and suppliers to build alignment, clarify decision rights, and drivetimelyexecution across all pillars.\n\nCommunicate clearly and respectfully, translating complex technical and program information into concise, actionable insights tailored to engineers, leadership, suppliers, and customers.\n\nProvidetechnical guidance on investigations and prevention across chemistry andgascommodities, including failure analysis, root cause, SPC, FMEA, control plans, and risk mitigation.\n\nRepresent MQE as a steady, credible, andsolutions-orientedleader during audits, escalations, supplier reviews, andcross-functionalforums, ensuring a consistent voice and disciplined follow-through.\n\nEnsure consistent MQE support forKorea-based operations and regional supplier quality needs across Korea, Taiwan, and China, balancing local responsiveness with global standards andcommodityalignment.\n\nExecution & Governance\nEstablish the operating rhythm to manage performance, risk, and improvement across the four MQE pillars forKoreaoperations and regionalchemistry and gassupplier quality support.\n\nEnsuretimelyreporting of status, risks, and deliverables, escalating issues early and enabling fact-based decisions.\n\nDeploybest-practiceprogram management frameworks to drive cross-functional alignment, accountability, and on-time execution.\n\nExternal Engagement\nServe as an escalation point for supplier investigations, excursions, audits, and customer-facing quality issues tied toKorea-, Taiwan-, and China-supportedchemistry and gasraw materials, ensuring disciplined containment, communication, and closure.\n\nEnsure high-quality external communication packages (technical reports, OCAPs, 8Ds, and presentations) that aligntocustomer expectations and internal standards.\n\nLeadsupplierquality engagements for chemistry andgascommodities, including corrective and preventive actions, audit readiness, process capability reviews, and sustained closure of systemic issues.\n\nQuality Systems & Operational Excellence\nEnsure compliance with global quality policies, raw material control plans, supplier quality expectations, and management of change requirements acrossKorea-, Taiwan-,andChina-supportedchemistry and gasmaterials.\n\nMaintain zero-overdueCAR, OFIs, OCAPs, or CRs.\n\nMonitor and improve key performance indicators (e.g., OOC%, QN/NCMR cycle time, SPC maturity, EQOS, change cycle time, and investigation timeliness) and drive corrective action when performance drifts.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science,Mechanical Engineering,or related field; advanced degree preferred.\n\n10+ years industry experience; 3+ years people leadershiprequired.\n\nFluency inKoreanand Englishrequired;additionalfluency in Mandarin or anotherregionallanguageisa plus.\n\nExperience managing employeesacross multiple locationsandcollaborating across global, cross-functional teamspreferred.\n\nStrong understanding of SPC, FMEA,supplier quality systems,materials characterization, chemistry,gas manufacturing, specialty gases, andraw material process controls.Six Sigma Green Belt desired.\n\nProficiencywith Minitab, JMP, SAS,SAP,Power BI, Microsoft Office.\n\nTravel: Up to 20%, including travel betweenKorea operations, regional team locations in Taiwan and China, suppliers, and regional/global meetings as
