As a manufacturing operator in the machining department, you are an essential part in helping Entegris be part of the future of Innovation. The machining department produces a variety of high-quality plastic components and parts that our customers use with other components to dispense, transport, and store a range of different chemicals. In this role you will perform tasks such as operating CNC machines inspecting parts and ensuring high-quality standards by following Standard Operating Procedures.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nOperates manual and CNC machines (vertical/horizontal lathes, mills, grinders, 5-axis machines) to produce precision parts in accordance with work order specifications.\n\nSafely utilizes cutting tools to perform minor corrective operations on machined products as needed. Collaborate with machinists and machining supervisors to ensure that production schedule is met, and any issues are escalated in a timely manner.\n\nUse SAP and other electronic systems to find, record, and generate documentation throughout the production process. Records all output and production data in ERP (Enterprise) systems and maintain compliance with all online training and documentation requirements.\n\nPackages finished orders in accordance with specifications, ensuring proper protection and handling.\n\nPerforms manual and CNC machine preventative maintenance tasks (checking/filling oil, vacuuming, changing filters, etc.) and other housekeeping duties.\n\nEnsures product is consistent with established specifications through Camline by utilizing different measuring tools, such as calipers and drop/height indicators. Escalates quality issues to supervisor or to the quality department as appropriate. Ensuring the highest possible product quality and adherence to the Entegris quality policy, ISO and/or other standards.\n\nFinalizes all required paperwork thoroughly and timely (i.e. Production Reports, Rack Tickets, Labels, Component Sheets, Rework Sheets, SAP Transactions etc.). Maintains accurate attributes/variable charts of rejected materials.\n\nIntegrates on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness and product/system quality. Promotes and implements use of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value activities. Participate actively in continuous improvement activities such as 6s, Kaizen events, etc.\n\nMaintains a clean and safe work area. Performs duties in a safe manner and observes approved safety procedures and communicates potential hazards immediately to supervisor.\n\nCompletes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.\n\nWhat We Seek:\nMust be 18 years or older and have the right to work in the US without sponsorship\n\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required\n\nAt least one (1) year of previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred.\n\nAbility to perform basic math calculations.\n\nBasic computer and data entry skills.\n\nAbility to communicate effectively in English and work in a team setting.\n\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.\n\nProven ability to execute manufacturing processes within a tight tolerance.\n\nAbility to understand documented processes and procedures indicated in engineering blueprints.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nAt Entegris, we invest in providing opportunities to our employees and promote from within.
