In this role, you will develop clear, accurate, and operator-ready documentation that supports product development, pilot builds, and full-scale production activities. You will work closely with engineers, technicians, operators, quality personnel, and training teams to capture manufacturing processes and translate them into standardized documentation that drives consistency, safety, and operational excellence. Through strong attention to detail, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement, you will play a key role in ensuring our manufacturing teams have the documentation and resources needed to build high-quality products efficiently and safely.\nThe new hire in this role will have the potential to build relationships across the organization and be recognized for demonstrated success and adherence to Entegris' PACE values. If you are a detail-oriented self-starter who enjoys problem solving and working with data, this role is designed for you.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nCreate and maintain manufacturing work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), inspection procedures, specifications, protocols, and other controlled documents.\nObserve engineering, development, and production activities to capture manufacturing processes and translate them into clear, accurate documentation.\nPartner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Training teams to ensure documentation reflects approved processes and supports employee training initiatives.\nReview, simplify, and standardize existing work instructions to improve consistency, usability, and operator effectiveness.\nDevelop documentation using engineering drawings, specifications, build notes, test data, supplier information, and direct process observation.\nIdentify documentation gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement and collaborate with subject matter experts to resolve issues.\nSupport pilot builds, new product introduction (NPI), and process development efforts through timely creation and revision of technical documentation.\nUtilize document control systems and established procedures to maintain compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.\nTrack, monitor, and communicate documentation project status to stakeholders.\nTranslate complex engineering concepts into concise, operator-focused instructions that support safe and consistent manufacturing operations.\nWork in a team environment and across functional groups to support continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing excellence.\nCompletes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals. \nWhat We Seek:\nBachelor's degree in a technical discipline, Communications, English, or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience as a Technical Writer in a manufacturing, engineering, or technology-driven environment.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.\nExperience creating and maintaining controlled documents such as work instructions, SOPs, inspection procedures, specifications, protocols, reports, or risk documentation.\nProven ability to simplify complex technical information into clear, actionable instructions.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.\nStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nExperience collaborating with engineers, technicians, operators, and other technical subject matter experts.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and document management systems.\nFamiliarity with ERP/MES systems, manufacturing processes, and regulated documentation environments is preferred.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating across functional teams.\nPhysical Requirements\nMust be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the work shift.\nAbility to observe manufacturing processes on the production floor for extended periods.\nOccasionally lifting up to 25 lbs. when handling documents, samples, or production-related materials.\nWearing required PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes when working in manufacturing areas.\nThis role involves occasionally working in a clean-room environment which may require additional hygiene requirements such as not using or wearing makeup, perfumes, colognes, or other strong fragrances. \nWhat We Offer\nRole is a Contract Assignment\nAccountability, Creativity and Excellence.\nEntegris does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
