This position will be based in our Aurora, IL, or Hillsboro, OR location.\nThe Principal Program Manager- Business Operations is responsible for leading large-scale strategic initiatives affecting the broad market. This role provides cross-functional integration and execution leadership across complex programs that span product development, customer qualification, manufacturing readiness, operational scale-up, supply chain, quality, and commercial execution. In addition, the role supports the development of Business Unit operating mechanisms, performance visibility, and governance processes that enable effective execution and leadership decision-making.\nThe successful candidate will serve as the primary integrator across multiple functions, ensuring alignment of business objectives, technical execution, customer requirements, and operational readiness. This role requires the ability to influence senior leaders, drive decision-making in ambiguous environments, and successfully execute high-impact initiatives that support long-term business growth.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nLead complex cross-functional initiatives from planning through implementation, aligning technical, operational, commercial, and customer requirements.\nDevelop integrated execution plans, establish clear governance, and drive resolution of risks, dependencies, resource conflicts, and organizational barriers.\nCoordinate product, customer qualification, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial readiness for broad market launches and other strategic transitions.\nDetermine where alternative materials or technologies should intercept product qualifications and lead execution of the approach\nProvide clear visibility to progress, risks, decisions, and resource needs, and drive accountability across functions without direct authority; Determine how to apply lessons learned to improve execution of future strategic initiatives.\nPartner with business leaders to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, ensuring alignment across functions and timely execution of key business objectives.\nDevelop and improve business operating mechanisms, performance metrics, and governance processes that support leadership decision-making, organizational effectiveness, and execution against business objectives.\nWhat We Seek:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.\n12+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in a manufacturing, technology, engineering, operations, or product development environment.\nDemonstrated success leading strategic initiatives requiring coordination across multiple global functions.\nExperience driving commercialization, manufacturing readiness, product launches, operational scale-up, or technology implementation programs.\nStrong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.\nProven ability to influence decision-making without direct organizational authority.\nExperience managing multiple priorities in highly dynamic environments.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAdvanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD, or equivalent).\nPMP, PgMP, or similar program management certification.\nExperience supporting major product launches and customer qualification programs.\nExperience working within CMP, semiconductor, advanced materials, specialty chemicals, or related industries.\nLeadership Behaviors:\nPACE Values\nPeople & Teamwork\nAccountability, Integrity & Trust\nCreativity & Innovation\nDedication to Excellence\nSuccess Factors\nThinks strategically while driving disciplined execution.\nCreates alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.\nAnticipates business, technical, and operational risks before they materialize.\nDemonstrates strong ownership and bias for action.\nNavigates ambiguity and effectively drives clarity.\nBuilds credibility through influence, collaboration, and results.\nMaintains focus on customer success and business outcomes.\nOperates with an enterprise mindset and balances competing priorities across functions.\nImpact of the Role:\nThe role delivers strategic value by directly influencing business growth, customer satisfaction, execution excellence, and long-term organizational success.\nWhat we offer:\nOur total rewards package goes above and beyond just a paycheck.
