If you are seeking an opportunity to apply your chemistry background in a production setting while building cross-functional relationships and contributing to advanced materials that support the dynamic semiconductor industry, this could be a great opportunity for you!\nThe shift schedule for this position rotates-if hired, you would work 12 hour shifts that rotate day/night every month.\nWhat You’ll Do\nWork a 12-hour schedule where your shift rotates between day and night shift every month\nSafely perform chemical manufacturing activities according to established procedures, batch records, work instructions, and production schedules.\nSet up, operate, and monitor assigned production equipment and chemical processes.\nPrepare, handle, transfer, and process raw materials, intermediates, and finished products while following required safety practices.\nAccurately complete batch records, production logs, labels, inventory transactions, and other required documentation.\nMonitor critical process parameters and promptly communicate deviations, equipment concerns, safety issues, or unexpected results.\nSupport process troubleshooting and participate in investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.\nCollect production samples and coordinate with Quality and Analytical teams to support in-process and finished-product testing.\nMaintain clean, safe, and organized production areas in accordance with site standards and 5S principles.\nFollow requirements for chemical handling, personal protective equipment, waste management, and environmental health and safety.\nCollaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and EHS to support safe and reliable manufacturing.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, process capability, efficiency, yield, and cost.\nSupport equipment inspections, routine maintenance activities, and production-area readiness as assigned.\nPerform other production and chemistry-related responsibilities and projects as needed.\nWhat We Seek\nBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific or technical discipline.\nAt least two years of related chemistry, chemical manufacturing, laboratory, or production experience, or an advanced degree with relevant hands-on experience.\nExperience following detailed procedures, batch records, SOPs, or other controlled manufacturing documentation.\nStrong commitment to laboratory and manufacturing safety, including the proper handling of chemicals and use of required PPE.\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to maintain complete, accurate, and traceable records.\nAbility to identify abnormal conditions, communicate concerns promptly, and support structured troubleshooting.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple production priorities.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate in a team-oriented, cross-functional manufacturing environment.\nOutstanding Candidates Will Have\nExperience in specialty chemicals, semiconductor materials, pharmaceutical manufacturing, advanced materials, or another controlled chemical-production environment.\nExperience with chemical synthesis, purification, filtration, distillation, blending, or related production processes.\nFamiliarity with SAP or another ERP or manufacturing systems.\nExperience with Lean manufacturing, 5S, root-cause analysis, or Six Sigma tools.\nKnowledge of quality systems, deviation investigations, corrective actions, or controlled documentation practices.\nDemonstrated ability to identify and implement improvements related to safety, product quality, yield, process consistency, or efficiency.\nWhat We Offer:\nAt Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
