In this role, you will be accountable to meet departmental production targets by leading a high-performing team with a strong focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. You will supervise production operators, manage scheduling and workflow, and foster an environment where teamwork, innovation, and accountability thrive.\nThis position partners closely with engineering and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication and seamless operations across all production shifts.\nWhat You’ll Do\nChampion Safety: Promote and model safe work practices. Partner with EHS to deliver safety training and reinforce a strong safety culture. Monitor the work area for adherence to procedures, restrictions, cleanliness, and potential hazards.\n\nLead & Develop Your Team: Ensure employees receive effective training and ongoing support. Address performance issues with proper documentation and manage performance reviews and corrective actions in a timely and consistent manner.\n\nDrive Operational Excellence: Provide clear communication regarding goals, expectations, and daily priorities. Collaborate with fellow supervisors, engineering, and management to keep operations aligned and efficient.\n\nEnsure Quality Outputs: Oversee production to ensure output meets quality standards. Support investigations of quality defects, develop and recommend corrective actions, and contribute to document updates and scrapreduction initiatives.\n\nPromote Lean & Continuous Improvement: Utilize Lean/Six Sigma concepts such as SPC, Kanban, and 6S to streamline operations. Apply PDCA and visual management to optimize resource planning, schedule attainment, and daily improvements.\n\nMonitor Production Performance: Track hour by hourproduction results and escalate issues promptly. Identify opportunities for cost reduction, waste elimination, and equipment/process efficiency improvements.\n\nBe the First Point of Contact: Provide day-to-day direction and respond to shift-level concerns, including safety incidents, quality issues, and personnel matters.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment\n\nStrong understanding of manufacturing principles with the ability to quickly gain competency in your specific production module\n\nAbility to work modified hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays\n\nExcellent organizational, planning, and communication skills\n\nAbility to adapt to shifting workforce, environmental, and customer needs\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite\n\nDemonstrated experience leading a team\n\nCommitment to employee development, accountability, and engagement\n\nDemonstrated alignment with Entegris’ PACE Values\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field\n\nFive or more years of supervisory experience\n\nExperience with Six Sigma methodologies\n\nWHY WORK AT ENTEGRIS? \nLead.
