This position will be based in our San Luis Obispo, CA facility.\nIn this role, you will work to ensure that the lab runs efficiently and safely while contributing to long term lab goals through experimentation and the use of lab instrumentation to improve lab procedures. This position will work with QA Labs to support sample/data collection, analysis and process improvements and analytical services to support data collection and analysis.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nPerform analytical testing based on established methods. \nCalibrate and maintain scientific instrumentation (APIMS, CRDS, TDGCMS, IC, etc.) and laboratory equipment. \nLead Long-Term Stability monitoring and Gage R&R studies in Quality Assurance Labs. \nLead testing and documentation of incoming media testing laboratory. \nCommunicate results through written reports and oral presentations. \nSuccessfully apply scientific principles, theories and concepts to specific job assignments/projects. \nWork with QA Labs team moving sampling lines at various heights to different locations throughout the building for internal product testing, requiring the use of a ladder. \nParticipate in site continuous improvement activities across safety, quality, and efficiency. \nWork with R&D team to document and evaluate the effectiveness of process parameters for media testing. \nMaintain a safe laboratory environment through compliance with Entegris policies. \nParticipate in Safety Teams as required, perform 6S lab audits. \nAuthor and/or review test reports, work instructions, and other technical documents.\nWhat We Seek:\nBS or MS in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or related field. \nLab experience using gas-phase analytical equipment w/equipment knowledge and troubleshooting skills. \nExperience using MS Excel is required. MathCAD experience is desirable.\nAbility to clearly communicate technical information and ideas to internal and external audiences. \nStrong written and verbal communication. \nStrong personnel team building skills. \nWell organized and detail oriented. \nAbility to lift 50lbs and climb ladders during test set-up. \nWhy work at Entegris?\nLead.
