This position collaborates closely with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to analyze materials, investigate product performance, and drive data-based solutions.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nPerform routine and specialized materials testing for short and medium-term projects and analytical requests.\nDevelop test methods and processes as necessary.\nAssist Research Scientists with ongoing product development activities.\nUse product and testing expertise to collaborate with internal and external customers to determine root causes in product development and quality problems.\nContinuous training on the various analytical techniques and methods. \nWhat We Seek:\nBachelor’s degree in materials science or related field.\nFamiliarity with lab environment and understanding of laboratory procedures and methods.\nAn inquiring mind, a team player and strong communication skills.\nCarbon, graphite and/or ceramic materials experience / understanding is desired.\nComputer skills related to data analysis, word processing and image processing.\nSEM, EDS and optical microscope experience a plus. Thermal analysis, XRD, Raman, and physical properties testing experience also desirable.\nAbility to work on multiple projects in parallel, either individually or as a team member.\nPerform duties in a safe manner, observes approved safety procedures, and communicates potential hazards immediately to supervisor or EHS.\nComplete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and goals.\nCandidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control law.\nWhat Success at Entegris Looks Like:\nTests and analyzes R&D samples, manufactured materials, and customer samples when needed and in timely manner.\nConfers with technicians, R&D scientists, and manufacturing personnel regarding results and research, prepares technical reports and presentations.\nGood communication and coordination abilities and presentation skills.\nAbility to conduct projects independently and navigate ambiguity.\nStrong independent operation skills and ability to complete lab work safely.\nAbility to learn and become proficient with a variety of analytical techniques.\nWhy work at Entegris?\nLead.
