The position also provides opportunities to develop expertise in Rockwell Automation, Ignition, MES platforms(Critical Manufacturing), statistical process control, and automated process data collection and analytics.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nDrive aSafety Firstculture by conducting behavioral and safety assessments and implementing equipment, automation, and process improvements to mitigate risk.\n\nLead& Supportprojects to expand manufacturing capacity, transition products to high volume manufacturing, New Product Introductions andcontinuous improvementopportunities forexisting processesand manufacturing sites.\n\nEngage cross-functional stakeholders (Facilities/EHS, Procurement, R&D, Maintenance, Controls, Operations) to lead capital projects from justification through commissioning and qualification\n\nDrive implementation of connected manufacturing solutions includingIIoTplatforms, edge computing, industrial data infrastructure, historian systems, MES, AI/ML applicationsandvision systemsasneeded in alignment withIndustry 4.0visionand Divisional standards.\n\nLeadspecifications, evaluation, and deployment ofAutomationhardware and software solutions, ensuring alignment withDivisionalstandards, cybersecurity requirements, and manufacturingobjectives.\n\nWrite, debug, and optimize PLC logic,andHMI/SCADAinterfaces.Simulation testing of new automation programs and user acceptance testing in conjunction with cross-functional teams\n\nCollaborate with Controls, MES, ERP, and Business Systems teams to integrate production data, automate workflows, improve data visibility, and enable real-time decision-making.\n\nDevelop business cases, ROI analyses, technology roadmaps, and implementation strategies that support site-specific and enterprise-wide digital manufacturing objectivesas needed.\n\nLead internal system commissioning, validation, and acceptance testing\n\nProvide leadership and expertise in global automation strategy, standards, and technology advancement.\n\nCollaborate with global teams tostandardizearchitectureand engineering practices across sites.\n\nDrive Industry 4.0 and Smart manufacturing discussions and collaborative efforts for division and sites\n\nEvaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions that improve reliability, scalability, performance, and business value.\n\nDevelop and maintain a centralized repository of global IACS standards and technical assets, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA source code; equipment and instrument configuration files; I/O databases; instrument specifications; equipment standards; engineeringprocedures;automation best practices.\n\nProvide production support and serve as a subject matter expert and backup resource for site automation teams.\n\nCollaborate with site and global teams to resolve complex automation, controls, and integration issues.\n\nProvide on-call coverage during resource absences and support escalation of critical production events.\n\nLead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation-related downtime, quality issues, and system failures.\n\nSupply Plant floor support as needed for local sites complex issue resolution needs\n\nWhat We Seek:\nB.S. Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical)\n\nMinimum 5years of experience in industrial automation and controlsengineeringwithin a manufacturing environment, preferably batch or specialty chemical manufacturing.\n\nExperience managing capitaland automation projects, including scope, schedule, budget, stakeholder communication and outage planning\n\nExpert-level proficiency in PLC programming,HMI/SCADA systems,Variable Frequency Drivesand motion control.\n\nExperience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus,DeviceNet,Ethernet/IP(preferred))\n\nAbility to leaddesign efforts on multiple assignments of varying complexity including implementation ofnew products & processes, withability to produce results when facing deadlinesorcommitments.\n\nKnowledgeofor experience with AC/DC power distribution, control/pneumatic; cabinet designs and layouts, to include electrical schematics.\n\nDemonstrated familiarity with industrial instrumentation and the ability to select and specify devices for production processes, including pressure, vacuum, temperature, level, flow, and weighing systems.\n\nWorking knowledge of safety systems and hazardous environments\n\nDemonstrated troubleshooting skills and root causeidentification.\n\nAbilityto travel(20% - Domestic & International) for site evaluations and commissioning activities\n\nOutstandingCandidatesWillHave:\nRockwell suite of applications(Studio5000/FTLinx/PlantPAX)\n\nIEC61131-3 Experiencewith LD, FBD, SFCand ST along with best use caseimplementation\n\nIgnitionSCADA-(Python,REST APIs, MQTT & OPC-UA)design andImplementation\n\nCritical Manufacturing(MES)-Manufacturing Execution Systemintegration andconfiguration\n\nIndustrial Automation Networking-Experience configuring Stratix/Ciscoswitches.\n\nKnowledge of International Standards ISA88 (batch)/ ISA99 (cyber) / ISA95 (enterprise IACS)\n\nSQL Databaseexperience(Stored Procedure generation), ODBC connectionsand transactional Data\n\nExperience with and exposure to virtualization technologies and associated implementation techniques\n\nExperiencewithand exposure toMicrosoft DefenderAntivirusandApplicationWhitelisting techniques\n\nExperience and exposure toCyber Risk based security solutions (Tenable) andOT remediation actionplans.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nAt Entegris, we invest in providingopportunitiesforour employees andpromotefrom within.
