This position will be based in ourBurnet, TXfacility.\nIn this role, you willoversee thefactory supportsystems such as DIW, N2, air, exhaust, chillers, and boilers tomaintain reliable and safe operations. You willmonitorand troubleshootthe health of the utilities systemsas well as scope and drive improvementsto the factory includingcapital projectsto expandthe systems.\nWhatYou’llDo\nDrive a “Safety First” culture by performing equipment, process, and behavioral audits and recommending/implementing solutions to risks\n\nOverseethesite utilitiessystems(including but not limited to compressed air, nitrogen, argon, DIW, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, etc)byleadingtroubleshootingefforts,monitoringtrenddata, conductingSPCreviews,andidentifyingimprovements\n\nConduct safety reviews of the utility systems and provide input to HAZOP reviews\n\nLead medium sized capital projects to expandfactorycapacity\n\nPerform facility modifications by utilizing themanagement of change process\n\nAnalyze preventative and corrective maintenance trends to reduce unplanned downtimes\n\nAssist the facility manager in development of short term and long term plans, conceptual designs, layout requirements anddocumentation for the facility\n\nCommunicate effectively across the organization (e.g.Business Unit,Operations,Analyticaletc.) to drive a result.\n\nAssist in the management of contractors performing work at the site and ensure services and costs are reviewed and validated\n\nCreate required documentation for new/modified equipment and processes including P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and recipes\n\nUpdate, standardize, and consolidate existing documentation of processes including clear and accurate work instructions and PIDs forfacility technicians\n\nWhatWeSeek:\nBachelor or Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar\n\nProfessional Engineering (PE) certification a plus\n\n4+ years of experience in operations,utilities,project execution, and continuous improvement of equipment that supports chemical purification and/or packaging.\n\nDemonstrated leadership ability to drive cross-functional project execution and problem solving while maintaining positive/collaborative working relationships\n\nExperience with PFDs, P&IDs, Control Logic Diagrams, Instrumentation Selection, and Valve and Line Sizing\n\nExperience with FMEA/PHA or other risk assessment tools\n\nExperience scoping and executing capital projects of small to moderate scale\n\nAbility to present technical data to all levels of the organization\n\nAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and wear PPE as necessary\n\nAbility to travel domestically and/or internationally in support of various engineering projects (\n\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience with SPC, ISO quality standards, management-of-change for product/process control, chemical compatibility studies\n\nFamiliarity with handling hazardous materials\n\nExperience with AutoCAD/Solidworks or similar a plus\n\nBoiler, tank and utility system process design experience\n\nTenacity to drive projects to completion to deliver world class performance in a timely manner\n\nProfessionalism, integrity and high degree of accountability\n\nAbility to collaborate with individuals at all levels and functional groups within the organization\n\nDrive to create new solutions and inspire others - Influence positive change\n\nWhat we offer:\nOur total rewards package goes above and beyond just a paycheck.
