customers.\nThis position is locatedat the Entegris - Tokyo/Geino/Remote, Japan.\nIn this role you will:\nThe primary responsibility of the Field Application Engineer (FAE) is to provide marketing and technical solutions (MTS) to semiconductor chip manufacturers, OEMs, and material suppliers, helping customers improve their productivity, product quality, and manufacturing yield.\nTo achieve this, the FAE works closely with customers and collaborates extensively with various organizations and functions within Entegris, fostering effective communication and strong cross-functional partnerships.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nAssistwith prototypes or derivativeliquid filtration/purificationproducts in both established and new applications.\n\nPromote mature products infabapplicationsfordefectreduction to improvecustomersyield.\n\nProvide technical mechanisms and solutions to address issues faced byfabsand chemical suppliers using theappropriate Entegrisproducts.\n\nParticipate in regular meetings with customers and internal teams (AccountManagers, Applications,Quality Engineering,BU/PM) to share feedback, assess progress, drive solutions, and enhance communicationregardingproduct evaluations and application challenges.\n\nEngage innew business development, conduct market share analysis, and implement strategic initiatives.\n\nGather and share technical lessons learned with FAE technologists in other regions to expand business opportunities.\n\nDemonstrate excellence in planning, execution, discipline, learning, leadership, and teamwork (exemplify Entegris PACE values)\n\nProvide support for various documentation expectations such as business process documents, item tracking, performance reportingand continuous improvementproject management.\n\nTraits we believe make a strong candidate:\nBS or MS inEngineering withexperience in Semiconductor Engineering\n\n5+ years of experience in specialtyWEC, Photo Track,CMPor related industry\n\nExcellent communication, planning, organizational, and leadership skills.\n\nFlexibility to adapt to various work environments, workforce dynamics, and customer needs.\n\nStrong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including Wet Etch Clean, Photolithography, and CMP-related defect reduction and yield improvement.\n\nFluentin Englishspeaking,
