In this role, you will lead the development, validation, and continuous improvement of analytical methods used to characterize complex materials, mixtures, and formulations. You will apply analytical chemistry, statistical analysis, and scientific judgment to support new product development, improve existing products, resolve technical challenges, and respond to internal and external customer needs.\nWhatYou’llDo\nSupportthe development, optimization, validation, and transfer of analytical methods for complex analyses.\n\nDesign and execute analytical experiments, interpret data, draw technically sound conclusions, and communicate results through reports, presentations, and discussions with technical teams and customers.\n\nEstablish and document method performance characteristics, including detection limits, accuracy, precision, stability, robustness, and measurement-system capability.\n\nCollaborate with product-development teams to define analytical requirements for new materials, formulations, and products.\n\nEvaluate, qualify,maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation\n\nSupportanalyticalmethodchange-impact assessments and contribute to cross-functional safety, readiness, and change-control reviews.\n\nPrepare andmaintainSOPs, work instructions, technical reports, method validation documentation, measurement-system analyses, and verification or qualification records.\n\nProvide technical guidance and training to laboratory colleagues on analytical instrumentation, methods, data interpretation, documentation, and safe laboratory practices.\n\nSupport globalanalytical-developmentprograms and collaborate effectively with R&D teams, manufacturing engineers, quality partners, and external laboratories.\n\nPromote a strong safety culture andmaintainaudit-ready laboratory practices while handling chemicals and performing work in laboratory and cleanroom environments.\n\nWhatWeSeek\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related scientific discipline.\n\nAt least three years of relevant experience in an analytical, R&D,product-development, or comparable laboratory environment.\n\nDemonstrated experience developing,validating, or improving analytical methods for complexchemistriesincluding polymers,surfactantsandadditives.\n\nWorking knowledge of one or more relevant analytical techniquessuch as TEM, SEM, XRD, XPS, ICPwithafocusonsurface and particle characterization.\n\nAbility to design experiments, analyze technical data, evaluate method performance, and translate findings into clear conclusions and recommendations.\n\nUnderstanding ofmeasurement-system analysis, method capability, statistical analysis, root-cause investigation, and corrective-action principles.\n\nExperience preparing controlled technical documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, validation protocols, qualification records, and reports.\n\nAbility to work safely with hazardous materials and follow applicable laboratory, cleanroom, chemical-handling, and personal-protective-equipmentrequirements.\n\nStrongproject-management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with the flexibility to manage multiple assignments and respond to changing business needs.\n\nEffective written and verbal communication skills, including professionalproficiencyin English.\n\nAbility to collaborate across functions, cultures, languages, and geographic locations.\n\nAbility and willingness to travelapproximately 10%to 20%, including international travel.\n\nOutstanding Candidates Will Have\nExpertise withcolloidal and dispersion science.\n\nExperience qualifying new analytical instrumentation or transferring analytical methods between laboratories or global sites.\n\nKnowledge of semiconductor materials, specialty chemicals, high-purity manufacturing, or contamination-control requirements.\n\nExperience supportingnew-productintroduction and working directly with manufacturing, quality, commercial teams, externallaboratories, or customers.\n\nProfessionalproficiencyin English.\n\nWhy Work at Entegris\nLead.
