This positionis responsible forensuring presses run safely, efficiently, and on schedule by directly leading press operators and coordinating across multiple support functions, including Tooling, Setup, Process Engineering, and Material Handling.\nSuccess in this role requires strong workflow management, staffing optimization, and cross-functional leadership to deliver performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).\nWhatYou’llDo:\nLead and manage press operators to ensure safe, efficient, and standardized operation of injection molding machines.\n\nDrive astrong safety culture bymaintaininga visible presence on the production floor, helping operatorsidentifysafety risk, and partnering with the EHS team on key initiatives.\n\nAct as thecentral pointof coordination between:\n\nTooling team (tool readiness, maintenance status)\n\nSetup team (timelychangeovers)\n\nProcess/Engineering team (issue resolution)\n\nMaterial Handling team (correct material, drying, staging, packaging supplies)\n\nEnsure presses start and run on time by verifying all prerequisites are completed (tooling readiness, setups, materials,and staffing).\n\nDrive accountability for operator standard work, including inspections, documentation, and escalation.\n\nTake action to addressperformance gaps and prevent recurrence.\n\nPartner with Engineering and support teams on root cause analysis and corrective actions.\n\nMonitor key injection molding KPIs: Press downtime, schedule adherence, scrap/reject rates,labor efficiency\n\nLead Gemba walks and Kaizen events targeting bottlenecks between functional groupsand operational inefficiencies.\n\nStandardize communication and handoffs between teams to improve execution consistency across shifts.\n\nBalance labor across presses to maximize efficiency whilemaintainingquality and throughput.\n\nManage attendance, overtime, and shift transitions to ensure consistent coverage.\n\nCoach and develop press operators andTeam Leads, building capability in troubleshooting, ownership, and execution.\n\nStrengthen Team Lead effectiveness in coordinating daily priorities andresolvingissues.\n\nProvide clear expectations, feedback, and performance management aligned with PACE values.\n\nBuild a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and teamwork across functions.\n\nWhat We Seek:\nHighschool Diploma or GEDrequired;Bachelor’s Degreepreferred\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience ina plasticsmolding, assembly,manufacturingor cleanroom environment and 3years experiencedeveloping people and teams.\n\nExperience in working in an ISO 9001,ISO 14001,andISO 45001 environment a plus\n\nProven ability toimprove workflow and operational efficiency, build and develop high-performing teams, and make data-driven decisions quickly\n\nExcellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills\n\nProficiencywith Office 365 and production systems\n\nLean Sigma Champion certification (or ability to obtain)\n\nFlexibility to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation\n\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to work in required PPE, including safety glasses,steel-toeshoes, and gloves\n\nAbility to safely access elevated platforms or ladders when needed\n\nAbility to stand, walk, and perform repetitive orfine-motortasks for extended periods\n\nWhat We Offer:\nAt Entegris, we invest in providingopportunityto our employees and promote from within.
