This role will plan and direct daily activity of employee and equipment in machining operations. Coordinate with other departments to assure timely and accurate completion of orders. Safely and efficiently ensure customers expectations are met in regards to quality and on time delivery.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nProvide manufacturing leadership to the production team \nPromote a safety culture through daily conversation and resolve employee safety concerns \nUse lean principles to ensure efficient product flow and work with the team to implement continuous improvement ideas \nCoordinate with cross functional teams to support production \nHold production leads accountable to goals and improvement plans while developing their leadership and coaching skills \nOrganize staff to maximize efficiency (ie. Safety, Quality, On Time Shipping, Cycle-time and Gross Margin) meeting or exceeding department goal \nEstablish or adjust work schedules to meet production expectations \nDevelop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product \nAnalyze and resolve work problems, or assist/coach employees in solving work problems and proactively addresses issues with employee with supportive documentation \nMaintain time and production records \nEnsure employees are trained on procedures relating to safety, product, and quality \nAnalyze and resolve work problems, coach employees in solving work problems, and proactively address issues with supportive documentation. \nMaintain time and production records \nEnsure employees are trained on procedures relating to safety, product, quality, and all other company policies \nAppropriately address and escalate safety, ethical, or operational issues as. \nComplete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals \nWhat We Seek:\nEducation: Associates or Bachelors degree preferred plus minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment or combination of education and experience \nAbility to provide leadership and drive a continuous improvement culture through open communication \nHigh degree of accountability and integrity while achieving the best results possible \nAn effective communicator with all levels of the organization \nExperience in a supervisory/lead role preferred \nBasic knowledge of machining and scheduling of precision parts \nBasic blueprint interpretation skills \nFamiliarization with manufacturing methods such as lean manufacturing, cellular workcenters, operator verification \nStrong computer skills with MS Office experience \nPersonal experience in working in an ISO 9001/AS 9100, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 environment a plus; \nCandidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws \nOutstanding Candidates Will:\nBe a team player and having an open, honest and positive attitude. \nConsistently display PACE values and be a role model for the team \nHave a proven record of making data driven decisions with speed \nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills. \nStrong leadership and team management abilities. \nEffective communication and interpersonal skills. \nWhat We Offer:\nAt Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
