If so.…\nEntertainment Partners (EP) is seeking an Junior Full Stack Engineer to join our technology organization as part of our commitment to growing the next generation of full stack engineering talent. This role is designed for early-career engineers who are strong in their fundamentals, eager to learn, and excited about building AI-powered products that serve the global entertainment industry. The Associate Software Engineer will work on defined feature tickets, grow their technical craft through hands-on delivery, paired code reviews, and mentorship from senior engineers, and contribute to a team that moves fast without sacrificing quality.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nIn addition to the following, other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.\nFeature Development\nImplement well-scoped feature tickets across the frontend (React.js/TypeScript) and backend (Python/FastAPI) stack.\nBuild UI components using React.js following established design system and component library conventions.\nWrite backend logic and REST API endpoints in Python/FastAPI under the guidance of senior engineers.\nConnect frontend and backend layers; understand how data flows through EP's application architecture.\nFollow existing code patterns, style guides, and engineering standards.\nQuality & Learning\nWrite unit tests for your code; learn integration testing practices with support from senior teammates.\nParticipate in code reviews - both receiving feedback on your own PRs and reviewing others' work as skill grows.\nAsk questions early and often; communicate blockers promptly to your Engineering Manager or tech lead.\nActively participate in sprint ceremonies: standups, planning, retrospectives, and demos.\nUse EP's AI coding tools (Tabnine, Claude Code) to accelerate development and learn engineering patterns.\nGrowth & Contribution\nTake ownership of your personal development plan in partnership with your Engineering Manager.\nEngage with EP's internal learning resources, architecture brown bags, and code pairing sessions.\nContribute ideas for improving the team's tooling, documentation, or engineering processes.\nBuild familiarity with EP's AI product portfolio and the LLM integration patterns used across the stack.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED\nMinimum qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent bootcamp/self-taught experience with demonstrated projects.\n0-3 years of professional or internship software engineering experience.\nWorking knowledge of Python or JavaScript/TypeScript; ability to read and contribute to code in both.\nBasic familiarity with React.js; understanding of components, props, and state.\nUnderstanding of REST APIs - what they are, how to consume them, and how to think about designing them.\nExperience with Git - branching, committing, opening PRs, and resolving conflicts.\nAbility to write basic SQL queries and understand relational database concepts.\nStrong curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to receive and apply feedback constructively.\nPreferred qualifications:\nAcademic or personal project experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django on the backend.\nExperience building UI projects with React.js (class projects, hackathons, or personal portfolio work).\nExposure to any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) through coursework or personal projects.\nFamiliarity with AI/ML concepts or experience calling an LLM API in a project context.\nExperience working in any Agile team environment - coursework, internship, or extracurricular.\nHybrid work environment - Burbank, CA headquarters with structured in-office days for onboarding and collaboration.\nSitting for extended periods of time at a computer workstation.\nDexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouse.\nAvailability during standard business hours with flexibility for team ceremonies and occasional production support.\nOther benefits and perks included are:\nHealth, Dental, and Vision options\n401(k) retirement savings plan and company match\nPaid holidays, vacation time, and sick time\nParticipation in company equity plans\nEmployee Assistance Program, mental health and wellness programs\nTraining and development\nAnnual bonus and merit reviews\nThe salary range for this position in $70,000 to $95,000 and will be commensurate with experience related to the position.\nEntertainment Partners seeks to employ the most qualified individuals from the available workforce and to provide equal employment opportunity for all persons.
