Entertainment Partners Canada prides itself on being the best in class from a product/services perspective but we are equally proud to have been Great Places to Work certified since 2017, providing an encouraging, accepting, and interesting work experience for all of our valued employees.\nJob Summary: \nUnder the direction of the Director of Tax Compliance, the Remittance Coordinator works as part of a team responsible for the implementation and maintenance of payroll and stakeholder accounts for our clients.\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:\nHandle all stakeholder/paying agent inquiries and consult with the Director of Tax Compliance when necessary.\nResponsible for opening, maintaining and closing of paying agent stakeholder accounts (WCB, EHT, CSST, HAPSET, etc.) throughout the Production Company lifecycle.\nResponsible for addressing and resolving stakeholder communication (mail, email, etc)\nPosting of all Union and stakeholder (WCB, EHT, etc) remittances.\nRemains up to date in stakeholder/paying agent legislation and guidelines (Service Canada, Ministry of Finance, Workers Compensation)\nMaintain knowledge of union contracts in the film industry.\nIn conjunction with the Payroll Account Coordinator(s), responsible for the resolution/completion of remit-related payroll account issues reflected in weekend exception emails.\nResponsible for maintaining and updating Union membership and RRSP lists.\nKnowledge of internal system processes regarding Employer of Record and stakeholder/Paying Agent Accounts, including WCB, EHT and Accident on Set (AoS).\nInvolved in all Employer of Record and stakeholder/Paying Agent client accounts including, but not limited to, Union, RRSP, WCB, Child Trust and Garnishee.
