Responsibilities\nProven work experience as a mechanical / electrical technician.\nTravel to the shipyard when required and maintenance area to perform repair and maintenance tasks.\nTest the performance of engines equipment and electrical systems.\nOverhaul and troubleshoot main engines and generators.\nEnsure all repairs, maintenance & overhaul jobs are completed in a timely manner.\nFollow service manual instructions for all repair procedures.\nFollow all safety standards and practices while working in the workshop and on-site.\nTo work independently to execute engine general repair and overhaul jobs on board/at site.\nKnowledge on performing dismantling, repair, replacement and reassembling of mechanical parts.\nConduct or organize daily tool box meetings with teams prior to job commencement and ensuring safe work practices at all times.\nPlanning of job methodology and work schedule.\nKeep work areas clean and tidy at all times.\nOther ad hoc duties as assigned.\nJob Requirements:\nPossess a minimum certification of O Level or Nitec in Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent discipline with at least 2 year working experiences.\nMust possess the skillsets and willing to perform HANDS-ON works in mechanical repairs, installations and removal of parts.\nIndependently perform engine repairs and overhauls on board or at the site, including dismantling, repairing, replacing, and reassembling mechanical parts.\nTroubleshoot machinery issues and propose repair solutions.\nGood command of spoken and written English.\nHighly organized and
