This is a role for a visionary practitioner who combines high-end technical craft with the ability to lead projects from inception to delivery. Our Motion Designers fuse cutting-edge technologies and innovative design approaches, solving complex creative problems for our clients.\nAs a Senior Motion Designer, you will be a key creative driver within our studio. You will own the motion strategy for complex projects, solve high-level creative problems, and ensure that our output remains at the absolute cutting edge of the industry.\nResponsibilities\nLead the conceptualisation and execution of high-end motion graphics and animations across digital, social, and experiential platforms.\nDrive key art and design concepts from scratch, spearheading the creation of style frames, references, and motion prototypes to powerfully communicate ideas.\nCollaborate with and guide the global motion design team in conceptualising and developing creative concepts for studio projects.\nPartner seamlessly with cross-functional teams-including graphic designers, editors, sound designers, account directors, and production-to ensure motion is strategically integrated into the broader project narrative.\nDrive the development of creative responses and motion-design rationale for client pitch decks.\nAct as a key quality guardian for the department, ensuring the motion design output meets Entropico’s high standards for movement, pacing, and brand consistency before delivery.\nEstablish best practices for large-scale After Effects projects, navigating complex file structures efficiently and setting up workflows that benefit the wider project team.\nCommunicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to present, articulate, and justify strategic ideation and design concepts.\nProvide craft-based mentorship to junior talent and expert design direction to freelance designers, elevating their work and sharing knowledge.\nStay updated with and proactively explore the latest tools, plugins, techniques, and trends in motion design to continuously elevate our studio's output.\nCommit to ongoing learning and professional development, embracing the opportunity to grow your skills in AI tools and supplementary programs like Cinema 4D, Figma and Cavalry.\nExperience & Skills\nESSENTIAL:\n6+ years of experience in motion designing a wide range of projects, from shorter, social media-based assets, to longer scripted pieces, commercial projects and/or documentaries\nExpert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)\nAdvanced design & composition skills\nExcellent understanding of motion, movement and pacing\nExcellent attention to detail and time management \nExceptional ability to articulate creative decisions to non-designers and clients. \nAbility to work efficiently and effectively, both individually and as part of the team\nStrong creative problem-solving skills to address technical challenges & find innovative solutions during the design & animation process\nExperience working in collaborative environments, working within a team of designers or collaborating with other departments in larger projects.\nProve ability to lead projects independently, manage multiple workstreams, and stay calm under tight production deadlines. \nDESIRED:\nExperience working with Figma and/or Cinema 4D\nAt Entropico we -\nThrive autonomously and in team scenarios.\nWork collaboratively with the other teams to ensure the output of work is always of the highest quality possible.\nAdd value to all productions & processes & contribute to the business's overall success.\nMost importantly, act within the best interests of Entropico.\nEntropico is intentional about hiring talent from all backgrounds.
