They provide both preventative and emergency maintenance, and ensure the equipment at the customer sites is in proper working order. The Field Service Technician will perform the accountabilities detailed below and other duties as assigned.\nResponsibilities:\nElectromechanical Emergency and Preventative Maintenance 60%\nDeliver high quality preventative and emergency maintenance services on Entrust Datacard equipment\n\nDiagnose and understand equipment problems\n\nWork with a high degree of autonomy with the ability to test, diagnose and resolve issues\n\nUtilize Oracle or equivalent ERP platform in use by Entrust to maintain proper inventory levels, resolve issues, and provide customer support by following established processes for service activity reporting and call management\n\nDrive to customer sites to provide service and maintenance\n\nCustomer Interaction 30%\nInteract with customer operations staff\n\nBe consistently reliable and timely in all aspects of the position, and display a positive attitude\n\nDemonstrate customer relation skills that allow for independent resolution of most situations without management assistance\n\nWork to continually improve customer relations\n\nAdjusts to customer culture in communication, dress code, and compliance with their behavioral standards yet maintaining and modeling Entrust Datacard values\n\nLearning and Development 10%\nParticipate in company sponsored personal development and quality initiatives\n\nComplete all company training and development courses required by Entrust\n\nDevelop competency in required applications to confidently use diverse software and systems required by the operation\n\nAssist less experience personnel that require assistance with difficult repair problems\n\nCommitted to continuously improve by sharing ideas, problem resolution successes, and suggestions on process improvement\n\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications\nAssociates degree in Electronics or equivalent verifiable training\n\nMinimum of 2 year of electromechanical technician experience\n\nProficient problem solving and troubleshooting skills\n\nProficient with PC’s, current operating systems and relevant software applications\n\nWillingness and ability to work flexible hours/shifts, assignments and travel when required, including temporary off-site short term assignments in other locations\n\nAbility to lift up to 70 lbs\n\nOvertime is required as needed\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAdditional electromechanical technician or field service experience\n\nEntrust central issuance\n\nAdvanced technical education\n\nProficient in electro-mechanics, digital electronics and software required to maintain Entrust and 3rd party products\n\nSkilled with tools and electronic test equipment\n\nAbout Entrust\nEntrust keeps the world moving safely by enabling trusted identities, payments and data protection around the globe. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan.
