They provide both preventative and emergency maintenance, and ensure the equipment at the customer sites is in proper working order. The Field Service Technician will perform the accountabilities detailed below and other duties as assigned.\nTotal Rewards:\nMedical Benefits from day 1\nUp to 4 weeks paid time off accrued within the 1st year.\n6 paid company holidays + 6 paid floating holidays\n401k with up to 6% company match\nAnnual Incentive Program (bonus)\nResponsibilities:\nElectromechanical Emergency and Preventative Maintenance:\nPerform high quality preventative and emergency maintenance services on Entrust equipment\nWork with a high degree of autonomy with the ability to test, diagnose and resolve issues on systems that may include:Mechanical embossers, thermal image application and laminating, magstripe and chip data writing, ultraviolet curing\n\nDay-to-day repairs may consist of:Cleaning rollers, sensors, cavities and such as required\nCalibrating sensors, data read/write devices, application pressure, etc.\nEvaluation/ replacement of parts for wear and misalignment (includes servo & stepper motors, spindles, clutches, belts, bearings, etc.)\nEvaluation/ replacement of temperature/ proximity/ position sensors\nSoftware adjustments for temperature, hardware positioning, etc.\nUtilizing repair and service manuals to troubleshoot card printer systems\nUtilizing test equipment such as voltmeter and laptop\nUtilizing hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, etc.\n\nMaintain accurate and proper inventory levels utilizing the ERP platform as applicable\nFollow established processes for service activity reporting and call management\nAccept, organize, and respond to service calls utilizing a dispatch system\nDrive to customer sites daily to provide service and maintenance as applicable\nCustomer Interaction:\nInteract with customer operations staff\nBe consistently reliable and timely in all aspects of the position, and display a positive attitude\nDemonstrate customer relation skills that allow for independent resolution of most situations without management assistance\nWork to continually improve customer relations\nAdjusts to customer culture in communication, dress code, and compliance with their behavioral standards yet maintaining and modeling Entrust values\nLearning and Development:\nParticipate in company sponsored personal development and quality initiatives\nComplete all company training and development courses required by Entrust\nDevelop competency in required applications to confidently use diverse software and systems required by the operation\nAssist less experience personnel that require assistance with difficult repair problems\nCommitted to continuously improve by sharing ideas, problem resolution successes, and suggestions on process improvement\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent\nMinimum of 2 year of electromechanical technician experience\nProficient problem solving and troubleshooting skills\nProficient with PC’s, current operating systems and relevant software applications\nFor relevant roles ability and willingness to drive to several customer sites daily to complete assigned customer work\nWillingness and ability to work flexible hours/shifts, assignments and travel when required, including temporary off-site short-term assignments in other locations\nWillingness to be on-call\nAbility to lift to 70 lbs. and spend the majority of the shift sitting, bending, stooping, walking, etc.\nValid and active drivers license, insurability if applicable for the role\nOvertime is required as needed\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAssociates degree in Electronics or related field or equivalent verifiable training\nAdditional electromechanical technician or field service experience\nEntrust central issuance\nAdvanced technical education\nProficient in electro-mechanics, digital electronics and software required to maintain Entrust and 3rd party products\nSkilled with tools and electronic test equipment\nAbout Entrust:\nEntrust keeps the world moving safely by enabling trusted identities, payments and data protection around the globe. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan.
