It’s the curiosity, dedication, and innovation that drive our success and help us anticipate the future.\nThe Opportunity\nAn excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to join the Finance team of a high growth business, at an exciting phase in its journey. In this role you will report directly to the Financial Controller and support all aspects of the accounting and reporting of two UK and seven foreign legal entities. You will be a key senior member of the team, be technically strong, driven and enthusiastic, have exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to all tasks. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our financial health and compliance.\nAs a Senior Accountant you will:\nFinancial and Management Reporting: Support the Financial Controller throughout month end and year end close by maintaining accurate, reconciled, accounting records, by providing analysis and reports to support the corporate reporting processes\nAudit coordination: Lead international subsidiary audits and manage relationships with auditors and local advisors. Coordinate audit requests within finance and the wider company\nCompliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including supporting with tax fillings, VAT returns and statutory requirements, including the identification of non-compliances and propose recommendations to prevent re-occurrences.\nDocumentation: Maintain technical accounting memos and policies and keep the team up to date with new statutory updates.\nProcess improvement: Improve efficiency of current processes and implement any audit recommendations.\nTeam Leadership: Mentor and guide junior accounting team members fostering a collaborative and development oriented environment.\nRequirements:\nEssential:\nQualified Accountant (ACCA or ACA)\n3-5 years of progressive accounting experience\nStrong understanding of UK GAAP/FRS102\nPrevious experience producing or auditing statutory accounts\nPrevious audit experience\nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines\nClear and effective communicator, verbal and written\nA keen interest in technical accounting topics\nDemonstrated ability to manage internal and external stakeholders\nAbility to build great working relationships with all levels of the organisation\nOrganised with good attention to detail\nAble to work independently and be proactive with solving problems\nHardworking and willing to take on new challenges\nAbility to look for efficiencies in all processes and drive change in a growing business\nCommitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with industry trends\nDesirable:\nExperience in technology industry advantageous\nProficiency in Accounting software Netsuite\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills\nPlease note this is a hybrid role with 3 days in our London office\n#LI-CV\nAt Entrust, we don’tjust offer jobs - we offer career journeys.
