It’s the curiosity, dedication, and innovation that drive our success and help us anticipate the future.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Senior Software Developer is an experienced developer within R&D who designs, builds, tests, and operates significant capabilities of the Agentic Trust solution. Working with Product, Architecture, and Software Development peers, this role independently delivers complex features and helps ensure the platform is secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable.\nThe Senior Software Developer contributes across the software development lifecycle and serves as a technical resource for other team members. The role is expected to understand how assigned services connect to the Identity, Authority, Execution, and Assurance planes and to make sound implementation tradeoffs within established architecture and Software Development standards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, implement, test, document, deploy, and support complex product capabilities and cloud services.\nDevelop secure APIs, services, integrations, SDKs, and data flows aligned with platform architecture and interface contracts.\nBreak ambiguous requirements into practical designs and incremental delivery plans with limited oversight.\nWrite maintainable code and automated tests; participate actively in code, design, security, and operational-readiness reviews.\nApply secure development, privacy, observability, resilience, and performance practices throughout implementation.\nCollaborate with Product, Quality Software Developering, Security, Cloud Operations, and other development teams to resolve dependencies and defects.\nTroubleshoot complex production issues, participate in incident response, and implement lasting corrective actions.\nMentor less experienced Developers and contribute to technical documentation and team standards.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n5+ years of professional software development experience.\nStrong proficiency in at least one modern programming language and experience with services, APIs, data stores, and cloud environments.\nExperience with automated testing, source control, CI/CD, debugging, and production support.\nWorking knowledge of application security, distributed-system concepts, and agile product development.\nAbility to collaborate effectively, communicate technical decisions, and deliver high-quality work with increasing independence.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with identity, authentication, authorization, PKI, cryptography, or zero-trust systems.\nExperience with containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, event-driven systems, or high-scale SaaS platforms.\nFamiliarity with AI or agentic application development, MCP, LLM integrations, or trustworthy AI controls.\nExperience developing software for regulated or security-sensitive environments.\nAt Entrust, we don’tjust offer jobs - we offer career journeys.
