It’sthe curiosity, dedication, and innovation that drive our success and help us anticipatethe future.\nPosition Overview:\nThe Service Technician Trainee will be trained to work on complex electro-mechanical systems built in the USA to produce credit card sized cards that involve embossing, full colour graphics, magnetic encoding, smart card and other state of the art techniques. This position will also have administration responsibilities to ensure the regional team can deliver services to our customers.\nResponsibilities:\nElectro-Mechanical Depot Maintenance - 50%\nPerform the repair of printers to electronic board level to support depot return contracts for customer owned products.\nDeliver high quality emergency maintenance services on Entrust produced equipment\nAssist with the refurbishment of Entrust products to support the Certified Pre-owned Equipment sales\nSupport other functions and responsibilities within the Entrust service organisation\nDiagnose and understand equipment problems\nWork with a high degree of autonomy with the ability to test, diagnose and resolve issues\nMaintain failure data records\nCommunicate technical issues to engineering, manufacturing, quality and other groups\nLearning and Development Key Activities - 10%\nParticipate in company sponsored personal development and quality initiative trainings\nComplete product training on Entrust equipment\nAdministration activities - 40%\nProcess parts ordering and shipment documentation\nProcess loan equipment documentation and track the equipment until returned\nProcess customs documentation\nPerform bi-yearly stock audits\nBasic Qualifications:\nProficient problem solving and troubleshooting after training\nDemonstrated ability to read and follow assembly drawings, schematics, bill of materials and follow processes\nDemonstrated communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to communicate effectively with external and internal customers\nWillingness and ability to work flexible hours, assignments\nStrong organizational skills\nStrong attention to detail when processing formal documents\nAble to lift 50 pounds\nPreferred Qualifications:Minimum of one (1) year of electromechanical technician experience\nAssociates degree in Electronics\nAdditional electromechanical technician experience\nSkilled with tools and electronic test equipment\n\nAt Entrust, we don’tjust offer jobs - we offer career journeys.
