This is an opportunity to take a leadership role in the development and execution of significant advanced thermal power generation projects, including large combined-cycle and simple-cycle gas turbine facilities.\nThe ideal candidate is a seasoned power generation project leader who has successfully delivered complex greenfield and brownfield generation projects from early development and engineering through procurement, construction, commissioning, and final turnover.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead large, complex power generation capital projects and programs through the full project lifecycle.\nManage combined-cycle and simple-cycle gas turbine projects, including greenfield and brownfield developments.\nOversee engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and turnover activities.\nManage EPC and Owner’s Engineer interfaces, contractors, consultants, and cross-functional utility stakeholders.\nProvide oversight of major equipment and long-lead procurement.\nEstablish and maintain strong project controls, governance, integrated schedules, budgets, risk management, and change management processes.\nDrive construction execution, permitting coordination, issue resolution, and contractor accountability.\nMonitor project performance and provide clear reporting and recommendations to executive leadership.\nIndependently manage highly complex projects or portfolios that may reach multi-billion-dollar scale.What We’re Looking For\n\nSignificant experience managing large capital projects within thermal power generation.\nDirect project leadership experience with combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) and/or simple-cycle gas turbine (SCGT) facilities.\nProven experience delivering projects through the complete lifecycle, from development through commercial operation and turnover.\nStrong background managing EPC contractors, Owner’s Engineers, OEMs, major equipment suppliers, and construction contractors.\nDemonstrated expertise in project controls, scheduling, cost management, risk management, procurement, permitting, and construction execution.\nAbility to step into an active portfolio quickly, establish structure, and drive accountability across multiple workstreams.\nStrong executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.\nExperience leading major utility or independent power generation capital programs strongly preferred.\nThis is an immediate contract opportunity for experienced power generation leaders who are comfortable operating independently and taking ownership of high-value, high-visibility generation projects from day one.\nWhy Join Us:\nAt ENTRUST Solutions Group, a Leidos company, we are driven by a commitment to innovation, technical excellence, and delivering the critical infrastructure that powers and connects communities.
