It’s the curiosity, dedication, and innovation that drive our success and help us anticipate the future.\nStaff Quality Engineer \n\nPosition Overview:\nAs a member of the Quality Engineering group, the Staff Quality Engineer will support the manufacturing teams as issues arise and will be a key contributor to project teams responsible for supplier quality improvements, production quality improvements, product development quality improvements, cost reductions and other duties as assigned.\nResponsibilities:\nEngineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain\nProvide support to production on quality and reliability issues\nSupport the evaluation and selection of global best-in-class suppliers\nDrive continuous improvement and corrective action processes with existing supplier base\nRepresent Quality Organization in the development of new products and enhancements to new products\nApply appropriate statistical tools to support process, material, and product quality standards\nDevelop and contribute to development and maintenance of policies, practices and standards\nData Analysis\nProvide data intelligence to help drive continuous improvement and business decisions \nUse Excel and QuickSight BI (Business Intelligence) to analyze data for the quality group \nMaintain thorough understanding of business data gathering process and data eco-system\nField Product Quality\nManage issue investigation and response \nDevelop and drive corrective action plan\nThoughtfully respond to customer complaints related to product quality\nQuality Systems\nSupport and maintain ISO 9001 certification through daily work activities \nAll employees are obligated to be aware of the company Quality Objectives and Quality Policy \nLeadership\nRepresent Quality on cross functional teams to resolve customer (internal & external) quality issues and improve processes\nMentor and train junior Quality Engineers\nMay assist with hiring Quality Engineers\nMay assist with performance evaluations\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in STEM field\nMinimum of 10 years of experience working in manufacturing, quality, or product development\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nStrong data analytical skills using Excel or Minitab\nStrong problem-solving skills\nMust have basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office\nMust be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US\nPreferred Qualifications:\n· Master’s Degree in STEM field\n· Experience communicating with executive leadership\nStrong problem-solving skills\n· Experience working with suppliers\n· CQE certification by ASQ\n· Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification\n· ISO 9000 experience\n· Experience working with the following tools: DOE, SPC, FMEA, Gage R&R, ISO standards and regulations\nAt Entrust, we don’tjust offer jobs - we offer career journeys. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan.
