It’s the curiosity, dedication, and innovation that drive our success and help us anticipate the future.\nPosition Overview:\nThe UK Tax Manager will serve as a key member of the Entrust tax team as the first point of contact for UK direct and indirect tax matters. The UK Group with main offices in London, comprises a dozen legal entities and files a consolidated statutory report. The UK Tax Manager will oversee the accounting for income tax for the UK statutory report and will coordinate with the US tax team in the global US GAAP tax provision. In addition, the UK Tax Manager will implement business initiatives aligned with Entrust’s financial and strategic goals. The individual will report to the Vice President of Tax in the U.S. Dotted line reporting to London-based Director for Financial Reporting.\nResponsibilities:\nOversee UK income tax compliance, coordinating with external advisors on specialty areas such as RDEC, Patent Box and international tax matters.\nPrepare UK tax provision for statutory audit of UK Group. Preparation of FRS 102 tax computations and disclosures of separate entities and UK consolidated group reporting.\nAssist in US consolidated tax provision under US GAAP, reconciling UK and US GAAP.\nProvide support to UK-based accounting, finance, sales, accounts receivable and regional management teams. Assist in global tax planning, M&A, and integration.\nReview UK VAT reporting, coordinating with local controllers and US-based manager of indirect tax.\nFirst point of contact for tax matters arising in the UK and EMEA, including PAYE, withholding tax and VAT.\nQualifications:\nBasic Qualifications\nMinimum 5+ years of tax experience in UK corporation tax, preferably in an accounting firm or complex multinational group\nKnowledge of UK and US GAAP Accounting for Tax\nCTA Qualified\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite, indirect tax software (Vertex), US Tax Provision Software (CorpTax), and Oracle.\nStrong communications skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization\nAbility to establish priorities of work assignments\nAt Entrust, we don’tjust offer jobs - we offer career journeys.
