In this role, you will contribute to the design of overhead and underground electrical utility projects, gaining hands-on experience in the field of electrical engineering.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign electrical systems for overhead and underground utility projects, including creating detailed construction drawings and accurate bills of materials.\nProvide supporting documentation such as pole force loading calculations, voltage drop calculations, and permitting requirements as needed.\nPerform field visits to inspect infrastructure and ensure the accuracy of designs.\nSupport pre-construction activities, answering questions related to the job site and design.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n3+ years of electric distribution experience preferably with Duke Energy \nDesign Review / QA/QC Review \nProficiency in software: BOUD, Maximo, and AutoCAD.\nBonus Qualifications:\nMotivated, proactive, and eager to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.\nAssociates Degree In a technical related field\nWhat We Offer:\nA supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and encourages innovation.\nOpportunities for professional growth and career development.\nCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including generous paid time off, retirement program with a company match, tuition reimbursement, and flexible work schedules.\nhe specific amount within this range will be influenced by the work location and various factors, such as internal equity, professional skills, work experience, and pertinent education or training.
