Ensuring adherence to all traffic legislations.\nKey Responsibilities\n\n· Safe collection and delivery of all waste materials.\n\n· Using all equipment in a safe manner and according to the company procedures, to carry out safety checks prior to and after use, reporting any faults/safety issues in timely manner and in accordance with the company procedures.\n\n· To ensure waste is loaded correctly and safely and all spillages are cleared up immediately and reported.\n\n· To adhere to ADR Regulations regarding the carriage of dangerous goods.\n· To comply with legal requirements and Company policies whilst operating a company vehicle.\n· To comply with all legal and Tachograph requirements.\n\n· To adhere to all Company safety rules and current legislation.\n\n· To check vehicle and report all incidents including damage prior to leaving site.\n· To accurately complete all paperwork in a timely manner.\n· Responsible for daily vehicle checks and cleanliness of allocated vehicle maintaining company standards.\n· To be a positive representative for the company at all times.\n· To identify and communicate any additional customer requirements communicating to the line manager.\n\n· To be the key point of contact for the customer when attending their site.\n· To report any near misses, security and/or safety issues, at customer and Enva sites.\n· To adhere to customer security, health and safety, and site rule requirements whilst operating at their sites.\n· Any additional duties as required.\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\n\nRequired\nExperience and knowledge of EU & WTD Tachograph Regulations.\nGood geographical knowledge of mainland UK.\nA good understanding of Operator Licence obligations and regulations.\nGood understanding of Highway Code and “Hierarchy of Road Users”.\nCustomer focused with experience of managing customer expectations appropriately. \nTo remain flexible in order to meet operational needs when required. \nHighly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively and to plan and manage own agenda.\nGood communication skills. \nAbility to handle complaints effectively, maintaining a solution focussed approach. \nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective and positive working relationships within and outside of the department.\nGood attention to detail. \nPositive and motivated with a flexible and adaptable attitude.\nGood conflict resolution skills based on a ‘can do’ attitude.\nMust demonstrate high levels of integrity and adopt a professional approach in all interactions - should be transparent, open, and honest in all dealings.\nMust have a proactive and safety focused approach.\n\nDesirable\nExperience working within waste industry most desirable, however, alternate industries with relevant experience will be considered.\nADR.\nWhy Work For Enva?\nEnva is committed to providing more than just jobs, we want to grow our business by offering career paths that match the aspirations of the talent that is increasingly aware of the need to protect the planet we all share.
