This role will contribute to the growth of the HSE department, ensuring strong legislative compliance across all HSE disciplines for the company and its employees. You will work in partnership with various departments to promote a safe and healthy workplace, while also supporting the broader organisation in fulfilling HSE responsibilities.\nFull-time role based in Grantham.\n40 hours per week, Monday to Friday\nWork environment is predominantly in a warehouse or processing facility.\nRegular exposure to noise, dust, and heavy machinery.\nPersonal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlanning, booking and coordinating all audit and accreditation (internal & external) activities.\nCarry out Internal audits within the business, ensuring any findings or recommendations are actioned.\nKeep abreast of KPIs and champion them within the business.\nSupport SHEQ Manager in reviewing of on site near misses / incidents in order to establish and implement learning and best practices\nSupport SHEQ Manager in conducting regular reviews on health and safety policies, and procedures\nEnsure the control, fit for purpose and accountability for all PPE on site and in use.\nMaintain a structured fire, first aid and site inspections record; recording the relevant information and coordinate with the SHEQ Manager for any work to be conducted.\nPlanning, booking and coordinating all SHEQ training requirements and courses for staff.\nCarry out internal SHEQ training for employees.\nParticipate in all planned / unplanned external SHEQ inspections.\n\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nSafety Compliance \nProcessing Efficiency \nRecycle Quality \nEnvironmental Standards \nProductivity \nTeam work\n\nPerson Specification\n Essential IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) as a minimum, experience with operational safety including completion of risk assessments and procedural documentation.\nExperience and knowledge in incident investigation and root causal analysis.\nGood knowledge of HSE legislation.\nEvidence of practical audit/inspection experience. Experience of delivering training to personnel of all levels.
