In Ireland Enva currently employs 340 employees working across 9 locations across RoI and NI.\nThe successful candidate will be required to complete a pre employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing as part of the recruitment process.\nKey Responsibilities\n Key Duties and Responsibilities:\nInstallation, maintenance and servicing of plant & equipment including (but not limited to) pumps, oil burners, dosing systems, pipework and related services.\nSupport the installation of new projects.\nMaintaining and servicing plant, machinery, pipework, pumps and equipment on site\nAssisting in new equipment installation and maintenance at other associated Enva/ customer sites\nMaintaining relevant records accurately and in a timely manner in relation to the above\nTo carry out checks, inspections and audits as directed\nTo conduct your duties in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the company’s waste licence\nTo adhere to the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times\nTo ensure that housekeeping is kept to a high standard around the site and that all activities comply with health and safety requirements.\nTo communicate any concerns which may affect operational process to the Production Manager immediately.\nTo attend meetings, training courses etc. as required\nIdentify continuous improvement opportunities, suggest and where relevant implement solutions.\nTo be willing to work flexibly and to carry out other duties as may be requested including over time.\nReport any non-conformances and support corrective action activities.\nSupport other teams/departments as required.\n Other Duties:\nTo act courteously and communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, Enva personnel and other personnel encountered within your role.\nTo foster and develop good customer and public relations at all times and to portray a professional image of the company.\nTo report for work in a timely manner and to conduct work as scheduled to company and customer satisfaction.\nTo work within the instructions and procedures of the Company’s systems as directed by your manager or other management as appropriate.\nTo conduct all duties in a constructive, efficient and productive manner at all times.\nTo act diligently and professionally in the interests of the Company.\nTo report any personal circumstances that would affect your ability to legally perform your duties.\n\nSkills, Knowledge & Expertise\nMechanical background such as mechanical fitter, maintenance fitter (MAMF), etc.\nQualified fitter or sufficient mechanical maintenance experience required, i.e. Fás/ City & Guilds or equivalent mechanical time-served Apprenticeship with Junior and Senior Trades an advantage.\nRelevant/ practical/ hands-on experience in the areas outlined, ideally in a manufacturing/ production environment within medium/heavy industrial industry. \nExperience with equipment such pumping equipment, oil burners and hydraulic & pneumatic equipment.\nWelding, drilling and grinding experience.\nAbility to work on own initiative.\nAbility to perform repairs and maintenance on both a reactive and planned basis, and flexibility to meet business needs and customer demands.\nFull clean driving licence essential\nGood communication skills\n\nJob Benefits\nEnva is committed to providing more than just jobs, we want to grow our business by offering career paths that match the aspirations of the talent that is increasingly aware of the need to protect the planet we all share.
