Full technical training will be given for any role that involves a specialist element.\nKey Responsibilities\nProcessing packaging waste including stacking, wrapping, shredding old and reconditioned materials, & washing IBCs in accordance with our EPA license \nLoading and unloading of vehicles as required \nOperate all company mechanical and electronic equipment safely such as shredders, crushers, and wash plant\nTo conduct your duties in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the company's waste licence\nTo complete per-shift safety check sheets\nTo highlight any safety concerns to your manager immediately and to report any accidents/ incidents to your manager immediately \nTo report all non-conformances to the relevant personnel and to follow up to ensure compliance requirements are met\nTo ensure that housekeeping is kept to a high standard around the site and that all activities comply with health and safety requirements\nTo communicate any issues that arise to the Operations Manager/ Supervisor immediately\n To attend plant meetings, company meetings, training courses etc. as required \nTo be flexible to carry out other duties as may be requested of your manager from time to time\nTo always adhere to the company’s Health and Safety policy and procedures, including wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) at all times \nTo provide direct operational support to all areas of the business\n #ijadvantage\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\n\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nExperience in Manual Handling\nSafe Pass (desiered but not essential)\nStrong focus on Health & Safety\nExperience working as part of a team \nFlexibility and availability to assist where necessary in any additional services developed or offered by the company.\n\nThe above description is a general outline of the requirements of the role.
