Empowerment is the driving force behind our pioneering spirit, allowing our teams to take initiative, explore new solutions, and revel in the thrill of constant innovation.\nJoin us and be a part of a team committed to making a positive impact-where safety, sustainability, collaboration, and empowerment intersect to drive innovation.\nIMAGINE THE FUTURE WITH ENVALIOR\nAs our Regional Category Manager at Envalior, you need to:\nImplement and realize the strategy for direct Spend for the category clusters within corporate requirements and guidelines, to ensure results on all KPI’s and contribute to the overall result for Envalior. \nTo lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing procurement strategy for categories as to deliver maximized Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) savings for these assigned categories in line with Envalior procurement guidelines.\nTo identify and mitigate business risks caused by single source positions and changes in market dynamics, next to create maximal possibilities in implementing Envalior strategy.\nAgility to the local market pace and reflect with proper adjustment promptly, knowledge of the end-to-end value chain availability of assigned category in APAC.\nKey areas of accountability/responsibility\nContribute to the Direct Spend strategy development and represent Direct Spend in the Category.\nDevelop and deploy vision and approved plan for the category and provide input to Purchasing Director when developing the category plan.\nResponsible for developing the vision and category strategies for respective category cluster in line with overall Envalior direct procurement policy and guidelines.\nDefine and validate the sourcing strategy for the Category, using Strategic Sourcing Methodology (SSM)\nTake a strategic and long-term view in identifying and developing innovative sources and contractual arrangements / Accountable for internal and external analysis in collaboration with Contract Managers, as chairman of a cross-functional sourcing team under this category \nStrategic alignment with relevant P&L, clear understand the business plan in mid/long term\nClear view to the business module among captive vs. external purchasing\nPrepare and lead fact-based negotiation and select strategic suppliers.\nEnsure the contract implementation in each regional sites with COM’s and resolve issues.\nManage/evaluate contract compliance, and supplier performance and take necessary corrective actions\nDevelop and ensure implementation of risk mitigation strategy in the various regions.\nParticipate in supplier audits with Supplier Quality Manager\nSeek proper window to extend the local competitiveness to global wide.\nExplore the sustainability solution.\n4. Define and lead cross-functional sourcing teams.\nInitiate and manage raw material projects in order to achieve cost savings and manage risk.\nProvide team members with direction and support throughout the steps and activities of the strategic sourcing process and facilitate the collaboration within the cross-functional sourcing team.\n5. Key account management for Key suppliers / Develop and manage relationship with key suppliers and track their performance:\nBe first point of contact for Key Supplier top management to build strategic partnership, manage relationship and assess their performance / Establish relationship with key suppliers.\nInitiate and conduct key supplier audits and secure key elements of the SPE (security of supply, competitiveness, quality/compliance, sustainability, innovation/technical improvements, business commitment) in DSM’s agreements with third parties. \nIdentify potential contract improvement opportunities & re-negotiations.\nTo secure key elements of the SPE (security of supply, competitiveness, quality/compliance, sustainability, innovation/technical improvements, business commitment) in DSM’s agreements with third parties \nDefine and implement (strategic) supplier management process.\nPlay as ambassador to properly covert Envalior growth requirement to the supplier end.\n6. Manage knowledge sharing, collaboration and proper communication between Category managers and COM’s within Category by providing strategy and deep cluster expertise and ensure the use of standardized processes.\n7. Manage relationship with internal customers during projects.\nCollect and manage internal customers (using locations) feedback on the sourcing process to identify further cost reduction opportunities.\nImprove and reinforce the Envalior Purchasing profile and recognition within the internal customer community.\nRequirements\nThe Ideal Candidate\n1) Education\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering or related fields.
