A true flagship of the French industry and a technology pioneer, ENVEA has throughout its history placed environmental preservation and sustainable innovation at the heart of the development of its measuring instruments, its strategy, and its founding values.\nThe Role\nENVEA UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day running of our site, ensuring our buildings, services and working environment remain safe, efficient and well-maintained.\nThis varied, hands-on role involves coordinating contractors, managing maintenance and service contracts, supporting health and safety and environmental compliance, and ensuring the smooth operation of office facilities.\nAs a key point of contact for employees, management, suppliers and contractors, you will need to be highly organised, proactive and confident managing competing priorities.\nKey Responsibilities\nFacilities and Building Management\nCoordinate building maintenance, repairs, cleaning and external contractors.\nManage building security, access control, fire alarm services and facilities contracts.\nOversee waste management, recycling and the compliant disposal of hazardous materials and WEEE waste.\nMaintain facilities records, inspection reports and compliance documentation.\nCoordinate company vehicle maintenance, office supplies, catering, space planning and office moves.\nLiaise with IT support providers to resolve workplace technology issues.\nHealth, Safety and Environmental Compliance\nSupport the Health and Safety Manager and HSE Coordinator with workplace safety, policies and legal compliance.\nParticipate in Health and Safety Committee activities and support audits, accident investigations and follow-up actions.\nConduct Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments and coordinate appropriate workplace adjustments.\nSupport ISO 14001 environmental management requirements, monitor environmental KPIs and contribute to annual objectives.\nPromote effective waste management, recycling and responsible resource use.\nProblem-Solving and Continuous Improvement\nRespond promptly to facilities emergencies, including building faults, leaks, power outages and fire alarm activations.\nPrioritise maintenance requests and compliance deadlines to minimise disruption.\nIdentify opportunities to improve facilities services, workplace standards and employee experience.\nUndertake additional projects and duties as required.\nEssential Experience and Qualifications\nAt least five years' experience in facilities management, facilities coordination or office management.\nGCSEs in English and Mathematics, or equivalent.\nIOSH Managing Safely qualification.\nFirst Aid at Work qualification.\nFire Warden training.\nFull UK driving licence.\nKnowledge of heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.\nSkills and Personal Qualities\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate:\nExcellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.\nA proactive, practical approach with strong attention to detail.\nConfidence coordinating contractors and working with colleagues at all levels.\nThe ability to manage competing priorities and respond calmly under pressure.\nStrong customer service skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe, professional workplace.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP database systems.\nThe ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a focus on continuous improvement.\nWhy Join ENVEA?\nThis is an opportunity to take ownership of a varied and important role, working with colleagues and external partners to maintain a safe, efficient and environmentally responsible workplace.\nIf you enjoy problem-solving, taking responsibility and making a positive difference to the working environment, we would welcome your application.\nWorking arrangement: This is a fully on-site role; hybrid working is not available.\nRight to Work\nApplicants must have the legal right to live and work in the UK at the time of application.
