A true flagship of the French industry and a technology pioneer, ENVEA has throughout its history placed environmental preservation and sustainable innovation at the heart of the development of its measuring instruments, its strategy, and its founding values.\nThe Role\nENVEA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior QHSE Coordinator to join our team at Swavesey.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment who is looking to develop their career in Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) management.\nWorking with colleagues across the business, you will help maintain and improve our QHSE Management Systems, support compliance with relevant standards and promote a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nQuality and Management Systems\nMaintain QHSE documentation, procedures and records, supporting compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.\nSupport internal and external audits, record non-conformances and monitor corrective and preventive actions.\nAssist with investigations into quality issues, environmental non-conformances and health and safety incidents.\nCoordinate processes relating to non-conforming materials, stop shipments and risk management.\nHealth and Safety\nDevelop and review Risk Assessments (RAs) and Safe Systems of Work (SSWs), including documentation for customer-site activities.\nReview contractors’ Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to ensure appropriate safety measures are in place.\nSupport risk management and safe working practices across manufacturing operations.\nParticipate in Health and Safety Committee activities and monitor agreed actions.\nTraining and Continuous Improvement\nCoordinate QHSE training for employees, new starters and relevant third parties.\nProvide QHSE documentation to customer-facing teams in response to customer requirements.\nSupport management reviews, ensuring actions are recorded and completed.\nWork with colleagues, suppliers and auditors to identify and implement improvements.\nEssential Skills and Attributes\nUnderstanding of quality, health and safety, and environmental management requirements.\nKnowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, or a willingness to develop expertise.\nStrong organisational skills and attention to detail.\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nAnalytical problem-solving skills and a practical, proactive approach.\nAbility to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.\nDetermination to resolve issues, follow actions through and drive continuous improvement.\nQualifications and Experience\nExperience in Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.\nRelevant health and safety qualifications, such as IOSH or equivalent.\nExperience assessing risks and implementing appropriate control measures in a manufacturing setting.\nQHSE Management System administration and audit experience would be advantageous.\nAdditional relevant professional qualifications or experience with electromechanical or instrumentation products would be beneficial.\nWhy Join ENVEA?\nThis role offers an opportunity to develop your QHSE career within an international technology business, contributing to product quality, workplace safety, environmental responsibility and continuous improvement.\nIf you are organised, proactive and keen to make a positive difference, we would welcome your application.\nRight to Work\nApplicants must have the legal right to live and work in the UK at the time of application.
