Joining now means you can help establish effective working practices and support a growing team, backed by the expertise of an experienced global business.\nThe opportunity\nThis permanent position offers variety and a clear next step.\nInitially, you will provide administrative and coordination support to our mobilisation programme, with this assignment planned to run until 1 October 2027. As rollout activity reduces, you will transition into a Purchasing Administrator role within our Operations Support team.\nTraining and practical purchasing experience will be provided during Programme Manager and colleagues across Operations, Field Service, HR, Finance and Supply Chain, you will:\nUpdate schedules, action trackers, calendars and shared records.\n\nArrange meetings, prepare agendas and record minutes and actions.\n\nFollow up deadlines and gather updates for programme reports.\n\nMaintain accurate, organised and version-controlled documents.\n\nSupport administration for site surveys, installations, deliveries andoperational handovers.\n\nCoordinate onboarding, training arrangements and equipment requests.\n\nHelp track shipments and stock, highlighting delays or discrepancies.\n\nYour move into purchasing\nYou will learn our purchasing systems, supplier processes and approval requirements, gradually taking onresponsibilities including:\nProcessing approved purchase requests and raising accurate purchase orders.\n\nObtaining quotations and maintaining supplier and order records.\n\nMonitoring deliveries and following up outstanding items.\n\nLiaising with suppliers and colleagues about shortages, returns and order queries.\n\nSupporting Finance with purchase order, goods receipt and invoice discrepancies.\n\nMaintaining clear records of orders, approvals and supporting documents.\n\nThroughout both phases, you will also provide general office support, including shared inboxes, meeting arrangements and approved travel and training bookings.\nRequirements\nAbout you\nYou will have experience in administration, project support or operational coordination, together with:\nStrong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.\n\nConfidence using Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.\n\nExperience maintaining records, coordinating meetings and following up actions.\n\nClear communication skills and confidence working across teams.\n\nGood numeracy and the ability to manage competing deadlines.\n\nInitiative, discretion and a willingness to develop purchasing skills.\n\nExperience with purchasing, suppliers, logistics or technical environments would be helpful, as would familiarity with Dynamics 365 or Business Central, but these are not
