Maintenance Planning & Execution\nPlan, schedule, and supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.\nEnsure availability and reliability of critical equipment (e.g., rolling mills, furnaces, conveyors, cranes, compressors).\nImplement condition monitoring systems (vibration analysis, thermography, etc.)\n2. Equipment Reliability & Performance\nImprove equipment uptime and reduce failure rates.\nConduct root cause analysis (RCA) of major breakdowns and implement corrective actions.\nDevelop and track KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, and equipment availability\n3. Team Management\nLead and manage a team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians.\nAssign responsibilities and monitor performance.\nProvide technical guidance and conduct training programs.\n4. Safety & Compliance\nEnsure adherence to safety standards, SOPs, and statutory regulations.\nPromote a strong safety culture and zero-accident workplace.\nConduct safety audits and risk assessments.\n5. Cost Control & Budgeting\nPrepare and manage maintenance budgets.\nOptimize maintenance costs without compromising reliability.\nMonitor inventory and ensure availability of spares.\n6. Shutdown Management\nPlan and execute annual/quarterly plant shutdowns.\nCoordinate with production, electrical, and other departments.\nEnsure timely completion within budget.\n7. Vendor & Contract Management\nManage external vendors, contractors, and service providers.\nEvaluate vendor performance and control service quality.\nNegotiate contracts and service agreements.\n8. Continuous Improvement\nImplement TPM, Lean, 5S, and other improvement initiatives.\nDrive digitalization and automation in maintenance processes.\nIdentify opportunities for process optimization.\nSpares optimization (slow/non-moving reduction)\nQualifications\n1. B.E / B.Tech - Mechanical / Electrical\n2.15-18 years in steel / mining / cement / power industries\nCompetencies Required\n1. Strong problem-solving & RCA skills\n2. Expertise in fixed plant maintenance\n3. Hands-on exposure to fabrication, welding, and industrial systems\n4. Strong leadership and decision-making ability\n5.
