This position is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle from permitting, planning, and scheduling through field execution, quality control, and final customer handoff while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.\nThe ideal candidate is a strong field leader with solid project management and administrative skills. This individual should be equally comfortable leading crews in the field, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, reviewing project plans and changing orders, and maintaining accurate documentation, permits, schedules, and project costs.\nGiven Maine’s limited seasonal construction window, this role requires strong planning, proactive scheduling, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously. Success in this position will depend on maintaining consistent project momentum, anticipating potential challenges, and ensuring that each project meets the company’s standards for quality, safety, customer service, and profitability.\nCore Responsibilities\nRenovation & Construction Operations\nOversee day-to-day renovation and construction operations, including pool resurfacing, tile, and coping renovations as well as new pool and outdoor living construction\nManage project schedules, budgets, labor coordination, and overall project execution from inception to completion\nPlan and sequence the project pipeline around Maine's seasonal window, weather, and ground conditions to maximize productive build time\nCoordinate field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries to keep projects on schedule\nReview project plans, specifications, contracts, and permits to confirm scope alignment and compliance\nMonitor project progress and proactively resolve delays, scope changes, and operational issues\nTeam Leadership & Field Coordination\nLead and support renovation and construction crews, foremen, and subcontractors across multiple active job sites\nConduct regular site visits, inspections, and progress meetings\nProvide coaching, direction, and accountability to field personnel\nSupport workforce planning, crew scheduling, and labor allocation, including seasonal staffing\nFoster a culture of safety, professionalism, and craftsmanship\nProject Administration & Documentation\nServe as the primary point of contact between customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams throughout each project\nManage project documentation, including contracts, permits, invoices, change orders, and progress reports\nObtain and track permits and inspections with local municipalities\nMaintain accurate project records and status in company project management and ERP systems\nPrepare project timelines, status updates, and reports for senior leadership\nFinancial & Operational Oversight\nTrack project costs, labor utilization, and job profitability against budget\nReview and approve change orders and job costing\nSupport budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting\nIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce rework, and lower project costs\nSafety, Compliance & Quality Assurance\nEnforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies on all job sites\nEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, building codes, and permit requirements\nConduct quality inspections throughout each project to maintain workmanship standards\nAddress customer concerns and escalations professionally and promptly\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Sales, Estimating, Service, and Customer Service teams to support project success\nOwn the handoff from sale to production and from completed project to the service team\nSupport Easton Select Group integration and operational standardization initiatives\nParticipate in leadership meetings, operational planning, and continuous improvement efforts\nQualifications\n5+ years of construction, renovation, or project management experience\nExperience in pool construction or renovation, excavation, hardscaping, or a related trade preferred\nStrong understanding of construction operations, scheduling, budgeting, and job costing\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and specifications\nStrong leadership, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, seasonal environment\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software\nValid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites throughout the service area\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience managing residential pool renovation (resurfacing, tile, and coping) and construction projects\nExperience with construction in northern climates and seasonal scheduling\nKnowledge of Maine permitting, inspections, and building code requirements\nOSHA certification or construction safety training\nProject management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent)\nExperience with construction management or ERP software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, NetSuite)\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience\nWhat We Offer\n9 paid holidays\nPaid vacation and sick time\nEmployer-matched 401(k)\nEmployer-paid life insurance\nOptional supplemental life insurance\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance plans\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
