This quota-driven role works closely with engineering, and project management teams to develop pricing, review specifications, and ensure alignment with client requirements and company objectives.\nSalary: up to $75k depending on experience \nKey Responsibilities\nReview bid documents, project specifications, drawings, and RFPs to understand scope and requirements\nDevelop detailed cost estimates for AV systems, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs\nDevelop relationships with new clients\nCollaborate with design teams to ensure technical accuracy and project feasibility\nPrepare comprehensive proposals, quotations, and bid submissions\nSource pricing from vendors and negotiate as needed to meet cost targets\nAnalyze project risks and identify opportunities for cost savings or value engineering\nMaintain and update pricing databases, labor rates, and estimating tools\nParticipate in pre-bid meetings, site surveys, and client presentations when required\nEnsure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and client requirements\nSupport project handoff to operations teams after contract award\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, IT, or related field preferred\n2–5+ years of sales and estimating experience in AV, low-voltage, IT infrastructure, or construction industries\nStrong knowledge of audio-visual systems, including:\nVideo conferencing systems\nPublic Address Systems\nDisplay technologies (LED, LCD, projection)\nAudio systems and DSP\nControl systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX, etc.)\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics\nProficiency in estimating software, Excel, and CRM tools\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nCTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification or similar AV industry credentials\nExperience with design-build projects and integration environments\nFamiliarity with construction processes and low-voltage standards\nKnowledge of networking fundamentals related to AV systems\n\nKey Skills & Competencies\nAttention to detail and accuracy in cost modeling\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nAbility to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously\nCommercial awareness and understanding of margins and profitability\nNegotiation and vendor management skills\n\nWork Environment\nField and office based.\nMay require coordination with field teams, engineers, and clients\nFast-paced environment with deadline-driven projects\n\nSuccess Metrics\nAccuracy of estimates vs. project actuals\nWin rate on bids and proposals\nTimeliness of bid submissions\nContribution
