If so, Envista Forensics is currently seeking highly motivated students for summer internships. This internship opportunity seeks to collaborate with the right candidate to provide an introduction to the world of forensic and consulting engineering. You will experience all facets of forensic engineering consulting including, but not limited to, technical research, report writing, site inspections, and milestone projects. You will receive coaching and mentorship provided by the Team Leads as well as access to all engineering and core functions of the company.\nThis paid internship program is from May 2027 to August 2027. Envista offers successful interns the potential to transition into a full-time job post-graduation.\nPRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:\nApply technical discipline to conduct in-depth technical research concerning ongoing cases.\nContribute to the investigation of an incident including but not limited to collection of evidence, documentation of site and associated equipment, and photograph all evidence and areas related to the claim.\nWork with the Team Lead to write reports based on investigative findings.\nTravel to required location(s) for site inspections.\nSetup and run test projects. Collect the requisite data and distill the data into usable information.\nAssist consultants with marketing efforts and matter related work on an as needed basis.\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nGeneral knowledge of materials science and engineering principles\nStrong technological skills and mathematical reasoning\nStrong written and oral expression and comprehension\nCritical thinking and problem-solving ability with the ability to troubleshoot technical problems\nHighly organized with attention to details\nProficient knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word and Excel\nSelf-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field.\nExcellent interpersonal skills and willingness to contribute to the team-centric culture\nCooperative and flexible in attitude and manner\nEducation and Experience:\nAttend 3rd or 4th year status in an accredited Materials Science or related Engineering Program.\nStudents currently in a Master’s program preferred.\nAvailable to work in the Columbus, OH area.\nRelated co-op or internship experience is a plus\nActively involved in campus, community or other volunteer activities or organizations is preferred.\n One Company/One Team is not just one of our 5 Guiding Principles, it’s we how separate ourselves from our competitors.
