This position will also verify procedures and paperwork is completed properly and area is properly maintained and cleaned.\nLead responsibilities:\nCoordinate work assignment with team to include scheduling breaks/lunches\nVerify completion and accuracy of all paperwork\nHousekeeping audit\nCommunicate with shift supervisor and operations supervisor as necessary\nAssist in training of employees in quality, truck receiving, and other tasks to ensure employees keep up with training and certifications\nComplete Leader Standard Work\nCommunicate in shift changeover meeting on safety, quality, production of truck receiving\nSkilled operational knowledge of scale program and PLC\nAssist with vessel loading as needed\nReceiving:\nReceive pellets into the port, record data to ensure accurate billing\nCommunicate in a professional, courteous manner with our suppliers and employees\nEnsure safety of scale area and that loads meet safety criteria\nKeep scale and ramps clean and free of debris\nQuality:\nCollect samples and test finished goods delivered by truck and/or rail\nMaintain QA/QC records and follow Quality Standard Operating Procedures\nAnalyze equipment performance and quality results\nSkilled in use of Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook\nHousekeeping:\nKeep area generally neat and orderly\nOperate mobile equipment such as skid steer and telehandler to move dust collection bags\nKeep area clean of accumulated dust\nFollow all workplace and job safety procedures\nGeneral:\nComplete safety certification as required for the position\nCommunicate operational information as required\nEnter maintenance work requests as applicable\nEscalate issues promptly for proper resolution\nPerform other duties as required and serve as a back-up resource as needed\nMinimum Qualifications:\nAbility to work multiple shift schedules and rotating shifts as required\nHigh school diploma or able to complete GED requirements with six months of hire\nMust demonstrate mechanical aptitude\nAbility to understand and follow written and verbal job instructions\nProficient in mathematics and measurement\nTeam player demonstrated with past work experience or activities\nPreferred Qualifications:\nOne-year experience in receiving\nMastery of all duties in receiving\nVerified troubleshooting skills\nUnderstanding of chain of command\nWorking Conditions\nMust be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees \nWilling and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment \nWilling and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.\nPhysical Requirements\nWilling and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day\nWilling and able to work around moving equipment and machinery\nWilling and able to pull and lift, up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards..\nThis position is not eligible for visa support.\nEEO Statement \nEnviva is dedicated to the principles of equal employment opportunity (EEO) in any term, condition or privilege of employment.
