This person will be responsible formanaging and communicating the requirements of the organization to the supply base. This position will also facilitate the operationsand implement procedures for effective stockroom management.\nResponsibilities\nEvaluate approved requisitions for accuracy and potential cost savings. \nExecute approved purchase orders and distribute to approved vendors. \nMaintainvendor database utilizingcurrent vendors and only adding vendors with added value to the organization. \nManage relationships with key suppliers to maintainquality of goods, timelydeliveryand compliance with the organizationsterms and conditions. \nFocus on consolidating vendors by developing synergies with other sites within the organization to achieve optimumcost savings. \nSupport and implement Procurement leadership cost saving initiatives. \nMeasure and hold suppliers accountable for performance as measured in supplier scorecards. \nManage on-site vendors to ensure all procedures are followed. \nCoordinate with accounting to ensure pricing/invoicing accuracy. \nAssistsreceiving withdelivery discrepancies. \nSupport continuous improvement throughout the organization. \nEstablish and implement procedures to ensure organization and effectiveness of the stockroom. \nEvaluate and determineproper inventory levels for the stockroom. \nEffectively communicate potential supply disruptions throughout the organization. \nPromote safety initiatives and enforce the organization’s safety policies. \nExecute Enviva’s OEMS System, Gembas, Coaching, Visual Administration, 5’s, Material Strategy, Root Cause Analysis, Materialand information flow, 7 wastes, VA and NVA activities, Continuous Improvement, TPM, Communication. \nQualifications \nProfessional career on engineering, business or related - Desirable \nStrong Background on Commercial Negotiations. \nStockroom management experience required. \nProfessional Level of experience in the manufacturing industry is required. \nBasic knowledge on MRP. \n3 to 5 years of experience in Purchasing/Materials Management areas. \nPhysical Requirements\nPrimarily office-based with periodic visits to manufacturing facilities and warehouses.\n\nAbility to travel occasionally to supplier locations and company facilities.\n\nAbility to safely enter industrial environments while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).\n\nThis position is not eligible for visa support.\nEEO Statement \nEnviva is dedicated to the principles of equal employment opportunity (EEO) in any term, condition or privilege of employment.
