The supervisor also addresses any issues on the production floor, ensures equipment is safely used and well-maintainedand provides regular reports on production progress. \nResponsibilities\nManage day-to-day operations of the plant delivering key performance indicators (safety, quality, production and cost). \nMaintain documentation on employee performance and accountability to drive performance. \nEnsure a safe working environment is established and maintained. \nEnforce good housekeeping standards. \nProvide direction to team regarding duties and goals. \nEnsure paperwork & status reporting are completed timely and accurately \nEnsure daily and consistent communications and shift meetings. \nPerform work assigned by Production Manager to ensure successful operation. \nMaintain documentation on employee performance and accountability to drive performance. \nQualifications\nMinimum of 2 years industrial/manufacturing experience/wood products background. \nMust be proficient in basic computer knowledge. \nMust be self-motivated and detail oriented. \nExcellent written and oral communication skills. \nDemonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills. \nMust be a team player/previous management a plus.\nPreferred Qualifications - What Will Set You Apart\nHigh school diploma or equivalent education.\nAssociate degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.\nWorking Conditions\nMust be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees \nWilling and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment \nWilling and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to work evenings, weekends, and overnight to address unexpected site issues. \nClimb ladders and work off elevated surfaces on an occasional basis up to 100 ft \nMust be able to push, pull and lift items up to 50 lbs \nAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.\nThis position is not eligible for visa support.\nEEO Statement \nEnviva is dedicated to the principles of equal employment opportunity (EEO) in any term, condition or privilege of employment.
