This will include training in rail load out, quality, hammer mill and pellet milloperations. \nResponsibilities\nFollow all workplace and job safety procedures \nRail load outEnsure cars are ready for loading and load rail cars according to proper procedure and shipping enter weights in computer \n\nQualitySample and test raw, in process materials, finished goods and record results \n\nPellet Mill/Hammer MillCheck machine to ensure they are running properly, adjust machine as necessary and properly clean machine for maintenance to keep equipment in good working order. \n\nProperly complete paperwork \nOperate mobile equipment (forklift, Bobcat) to assist where needed \nCommunicate with Operations team escalating issues as necessary \nKeep area clean of accumulated dust and keep areas generally neat an orderly to meet housekeeping standards \nOther related duties as assigned and serve as back up resources as needed which includes filling in for associates on PTO or leave\nQualifications\nAbility to work multiple shift schedules and rotating shifts as required \nExcellent communication skills \nAbility to independently manage priorities and schedule to meet deadlines. \nWilling to work different shifts as needed with proper notification \nPreferred Qualifications - What Will Set You Apart\nHigh School diploma or GED \nPrevious work experience in a manual position \nMechanical aptitude\nWorking Conditions\nMust be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees.\nWilling and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment.\nWork includes high places more than 100feet, use main lifts and work in confined spaces.\nWilling and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.\nAvailable to work evenings, weekends, and overnight to address unexpected site issues with or without notice.\nPhysical Requirements\nWilling and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day\nWilling and able to work around moving equipment and machinery\nWilling and able to pull and lift, up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.\nThis position is not eligible for visa support.\nEEO Statement \nEnviva is dedicated to the principles of equal employment opportunity (EEO) in any term, condition or privilege of employment.
