Our company designs and installs projects for a wide range of Government, Commercial, Industrial, Educational, Medical, Institutional and Retail facilities across the United States.\nCandidates must be actively enrolled in a federally approved apprenticeship program.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nReports to site supervisor to receive day’s assignment.\nPerform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks involving the use of different hand tools used to perform new fixture installation or to retrofit, replace and repair existing lighting fixtures and solar panels.\nOperate maintenance equipment and a variety of power tools including portable drills, table saws, aerial lifts and related equipment as required.\nPrimary tasks include demolition of old fixtures, installation of new fixtures including compact fluorescents, exit signs, emergency lighting and battery backup, occupancy sensors and retrofitting existing lighting fixtures, installing reflectors and replacing fluorescent lamps, socket bars and sockets.\nPerform minor electrical tasks.\nComplies with the company’s personal hand tools requirements and always maintains.\nAssists with loading or unloading of trucks and staging material when needed.\nMaintains tools and maintenance equipment in working order.\nCompetency\nTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:\nEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work\nOperate various motorized light construction equipment.\nOperate various electric, gasoline powered equipment used in the work being performed.\nDistinguish colors used in electrical wiring.\nDemonstrate proficiency at interpreting Envocore's energy Conservation Measures (ECM) Codes and Price Codes.\nBasic installation, retrofitting, repair and maintenance procedures and practices.\nCandidates should possess the following:\nExceptional work ethic\nValid Driver's License\nAbility to pass background/drug screen\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)\nBasic knowledge of tablet/computer use\nGeneral electrical knowledge\nActively enrolled in an apprenticeship program\nWork Days: Monday-Thursday\nWork
