Procurement Analyst is responsible for ensuring materials and services are available to support airline maintenance MRO line and heavy check operations. This role works closely with internal customers and suppliers to source and procure materials, manage supplier relationships, drive cost savings, and improve supply chain performance. The Procurement Analyst plays an important role in balancing material availability, operational needs, and cost efficiency.\nResponsibilities\nProcure material / supplies for line and heavy check MRO operation.\nResponsible for creating RFQs, sourcing and negotiating material / services.\nCreate, manage, and expedite purchase orders to ensure uninterrupted material support and on-time delivery performance.\nMonitor and resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier payment issues to maintain strong supplier relationships.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing procurement workflows, inventory tracking, and logistical performance.\nIdentify and execute cost-saving and lead time improvement opportunities through supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing initiatives, quantity-price breaks, and demand consolidation.\nMaintain and manage supplier relationships and performance through established metrics.\nPartner closely with Maintenance, Planning, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance teams to understand operational requirements and support critical business objectives.\nQualifications\nWho are we looking for?\nRequirements\nMinimum Age: 18\nBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nDemonstrated strong understanding of procurement/supply chain concepts and processes\nAdvanced analytical capabilities with high proficiency in data tools, specifically Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and Access.\nEffective negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills\nProven ability to manage competing priorities and hit tight deadlines in a fast-moving, 24/7 operational environment.\nSome travel is required\nLegal authorization to work in the United States without any sponsorship\nPosition Preferences\nExperience with Oracle ERP or other ERP systems.\nExperience in aviation, MRO, or aircraft materials procurement.\nPlease note: The description is intended to provide a brief overview of the position.
