You will learn the ins and outs of how your team impacts the business day to day and gain an understanding of the commercial aviation business.\nPay rate: $22/hr\nResponsibilities\nThe Maintenance Programs & Regulatory Compliance team is seeking an intern to develop a Task Card Change Impact Analysis Tool that compares revised Embraer task card data with current task card data to identify changes that may impact maintenance execution.\nTypical job duties include:\nAnalyze revised and current Embraer task card data to identify differences\nDevelop a web-based application using Microsoft .NET MVC and Oracle Database\nAutomate detection of changes affecting work scope, tooling, parts, labor, safety and inspection procedures\nCreate reports and dashboards highlighting maintenance impacts\nCollaborate with Maintenance Programs, Engineering and IT teams\nQualifications\nThe ideal candidate must be able to work in a team environment and the ability to prioritize work and projects to meet deadlines and objectives. They will have an interest in aviation maintenance processes and must be able to work with minimal supervision, report to work regularly and on-time and be self-motivated.\nPosition Requirements:\nMinimum age of 18\nEnrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in computer science, software engineering, information systems, information technology, data science, computer engineering, systems engineering, or related field.\nTechnical skills / experience in C#, ASP .NET MVC, .NET Framework / .NET Core, Oracle Database and SQL, Visual Studio, Git or Azure DevOps \nMust be classified as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student upon start of internship.\n3.0 minimum Grade Point Average\nAn understanding of the basic concepts of data analysis and data structures\nWorking proficiency with Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook \nStrong verbal and written communication skills \nVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow\nMust demonstrate the highest degree of integrity as work involves access to confidential data\nMust be legally authorized to work in the U.S for any employer without sponsorship\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPower BI Experience \nKnowledge of AI, Machine Learning or Document Analysis \nFamiliarity with Aviation Maintenance Documentation \nStrong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills\nPlease note: The description is intended to provide a brief overview of the position.
