This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nThe engineer will be heavily involved with the creation, maintenance, and running of Pig and or PySpark analytics and is responsible for reviewing data ingest tickets and merge requests with other developers on the team. \nThe engineer is focused on delivering reliable, accurate data to the end users as well as ensuring that day-to-day operations are successful. Including being able to investigate data arriving accurately into the system.\nRequirements\nTo be considered for this position you must have the following:\n Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance\nStrong background in analytics development\nProficiency in Pig and PySpark\nSeven (7) years' experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required\nFour (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree\nDesired Skills: Experience with patch management and IAVA tracking; Programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala; Familiarity with NiFi and Ansible; Experience working in Agile environments\nEmployment decisions are based solely on qualifications, merit, and business needs - not on any protected characteristic.
