This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL Server databases to ensure data integrity, security, and availability.\nDatabase Management:Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance and security.\n Performance Monitoring:Monitor database performance using tools like SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and optimize queries, indexes, and server configurations to resolve performance issues. \nBackup and Recovery: Schedule and perform regular database backups, test and validate backup and restore procedures to ensure data recoverability. \nUser Access Management: Manage user access and permissions, implementing and enforcing security policies to protect sensitive data. \nCollaboration:Work closely with developers and system administrators to design and implement databases, manage schema changes, and support business-critical applications. \nDocumentation:Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and processes, ensuring it is up-to-date.\nDisaster Recovery Planning: Plan and test disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity in case of data loss. \nRequirements\nTo be considered for this position you must have the following:\nPossess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance\n IAT Level 2 Certification\nTen (10) years’ experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. \nBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
